Smart Steps Nursery

My son has been at smart steps from Jan 2024-aug 2025 (starting school in September) and he has loved every minute of it. There are always plenty of activities and games, a fun learning environment, plenty of encouragement and support and understanding of difficult times surrounding family life. They deal with everything in an amazing way.

Cracking nursery. Cannot fault them. My lad been going for awhile and no problems. All the staff are lovely and down to earth. Daily updates via the app witch is nice. 10/10 rating. The manager has been very accommodating from very get go. So thank you so much. Could recommend a better nursery!

Couldn't praise the nursery more, my stepdaughter loved her time there and made some lovely friends that she carried on to primary school with. The staff were all very welcoming, with good communication skills, keeping us up to date with all our daughter's day to day progress.

My 2-year-old has been going to Smart Steps for a bit over a year. He has the best time there. He seems to genuinely love the rooms and the staff and they seem to really care about him too. I love how structured his day is and how many activities they do every day. They always help me with questions and support I need around his development as well as random bits and even my welfare. I don’t know what I would do without them! Thanks guys!

My son has been here for nearly a year now and was delayed, but has come on massively since being here. He runs through the door every morning and absolutely loves all the staff. I couldn't ask for him to be in a better nursery. All staff are kind, caring, approachable with anything and are all hands down amazing.

The nursery is absolutely fantastic. The staff are brilliant at their jobs and my little boy is fully settled and happy whilst at nursery. The activities are well planned and are of such variety so my child is always learning something new. I feel since he has attended this nursery his speech has come along very well and he is full of confidence. They also have an app where they update nappy changes, naps and also upload pictures of what my child has done throughout the day. The garden area they have is lovely as well for the children to play.

The number and variety of activities each day is amazing and the fact they manage to get in the garden or go on trips - even in winter is fantastic. Thank you to everyone at Smart Steps Nursery for enabling my daughter to grow.

Absolutely brilliant nursery. The staff are the kindest people ever. They are always there for the children and families. Would always recommend anyone with children to go here. I had 2 children here and they both come out so happy.

Smart Steps is a great nursery. My son loves it there. The staff are all so friendly and nurturing and the rooms are lovely. Outdoor space is great, activities are well thought out and varied and food is brilliant!

If your considering Smart steps you really can’t find a more caring professional Nursery. All the staff are well trained. They go to such lengths to find each child’s strengths and nature. We are so confident when we drop our little man off that he will have a great day. Thank you to all of you.

We could not be happier with Smart Steps Nursery. The staff are helpful and friendly. Our daughter is happy and settled. The hours are flexible. The nursery rooms and garden are lovely and the activities the children do are well thought-through and engaging. A brilliant nursery all around.

My daughter comes away happy every single week. “Fun in there!” She thoroughly enjoys her time with all staff. She is learning so much and it’s all thanks to Smart Steps. The staff are very supportive, kind, friendly and caring.

I’m very lucky we found this nursery. They have helped my daughter find her confidence. The staff are warm, friendly and always help with any issues we may be having. We always feel welcome here and my daughter loves it. She learns so much, we will be sad when she has to move to school next year. The manager always extends any help and support we may need. my daughter loves all the staff but one lady has been amazing with her since she first started. The outdoors is amazing and lots of fun for her.

My son has been at the nursery for over a year and he loves it here, he often goes out to the park, shops on walks etc. he is always up to something every day, painting etc and has lots of fun, the girls are attentive and any concerns I may have are addressed, they also take on board for any medical conditions which may arise or any changes in diet etc. the girls are all lovely.

Amazing nursery! All staff are so friendly and welcoming. I was very worried about sending my daughter to nursery and the staff were so lovely to me and made me feel much more confident about it. She absolutely loves going to nursery and looks forward to it. She has come a long way since being with you for the last 2 months.

All of my children have been with the girls since they were all 2. I couldn’t fault them at all. The nursery is clean and up to date with any kind of emergency. Couldn’t have a better group of girls to teach your children. They’ll be sadly missed next year when all of my children will be in school.

If I’ve been unhappy with something I’ve felt comfortable enough to speak up and it’s been dealt with immediately and professionally. He has come on so well here and if I had more children I wouldn’t hesitate to send them here.

You can tell they all genuinely care about each and every child they care for and they go above and beyond for them.
