Overall the nursery offers adequate enrichment to my child. Not fantastic, the nursery is fortunate they have a sensory room, inner city farm on premise.
Ive given 3 stars for the following reasons as the there is room for improvement.
The nursery toys are old, broken, missing parts, no batteries etc. It's understandable toys will break and children play rough, It shows a lack of CARE, in my opinion.
The layout of their classrooms are on the smaller side, it's claustrophobic. From the baby room to their bigger rooms split in half the rooms are busy with young children they they can't run, they bump into each other when they are in their small groups with their primary nursery worker.
Surely they can extend it the side rooms? Or upstairs? I've seen other nurseries where they use the 1st floor for older age group children.
They also don't do or offer enough outside activities with the children, take them on day trips. My child has yet to go anywhere on a trip with classmates.
