Russell Nursery School - Russell Road

Absolutely amazing, Maria is a kind, caring, gentle person who provides exceptional care for my son Laith in the toddlers group at Russell Nursery School. Maria is attentive to his needs, ensuring he is well cared for, comforted and supported at all times. Maria treats Laith with genuine warmth and compassion, and it is clear that she truly cares for the children she looks after. She is a real asset to Russell school and the department, and I'm extremely grateful for her dedication, professionalism and the reassurance she gives to me and my family.

My child is at Little school he's settled in nicely and absolutely loves going to nursery - the staff are very helpful especially Suzi and Iram and the rest at Little School. They're helping him with toilet training which is a big help!

My children have been attending this nursery since 2020, and this is my youngest daughter. All of my daughters have had very positive experiences here, and I am very happy with the care and support they receive.

My daughter started going since April 2024. She had delayed speech, since coming here she has started speaking a lot more. Staff are friendly & helpful. They're very supportive with SEN children. Would highly recommend to others.

My two boys attend this nursery, it took them sometime to get use to this nursery but the staff have been so supportive, patient and informative- giving me updates regularly whilst in their transition period. The handover has been good. I enjoy the workshops they do with the parents. All the staff are friendly, smiley and kind. They work with the parents which gives a real sense of a wider family setting.

My child has attended this nursery since September and enjoys going in. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have supported me with toileting. He has shown understanding and improvement in developing.

My child attends the nursery happy and comes home happy. My child loves going to nursery and playing with the kids, the handover is good. Staff are helpful and tell me information. Love the staff, they help kids a lot.

I am happy with this nursery/childcare, my kids has developed and grain a lots of knowledge. They are very happy here with all staff. I will recommend with sincerely everyone my friends/relatives. I give five stars.

My child currently attends this nursery, and I am pleased with how much she has grown in confidence. My child is difficult in new surroundings; however, she has become more outgoing towards people she meets. The staff are very loving and nurturing towards my child, and she has built a special bond with her key person.

My son was a lockdown baby and had never been away from his family. This nursery made him feel so welcomed and loved. My son is happy to go to any staff member. When my son developed allergies to certain foods the nursery went above and beyond to find alternatives for him to eat and he loves them. The staff and the owners are absolutely lovely and caring and understanding. Fabulous nursery!

I couldn’t have been happier with Russell Nursery school. The staff are very welcoming and warm and always willing to answer any queries. They have many years of experience working in the nursery. The communication between home and nursery is outstanding. They really work with parents which is so good.

I will always recommend Russell Road Nursery. All staff are welcoming and friendly. I am always kept up to date on how my daughter is doing and what she ate. My daughter has developed her skills with an excellent range of activities. I would definitely recommend this nursery!

Both my children enjoy coming to nursery. The staff are highly professional, have great communication and display so much care. My sons have progressed socially and academically since attending this nursery. Their needs are always managed well and they have built great relationships with staff. I have no regret in choosing this nursery.

I highly recommend sending you child or children. My daughter loves going, loves the staff they are so friendly. They should bring a website where you can see photos of your child or children while they're there.

I am very happy leaving my son at nursery as all the staff are very welcoming and friendly. He is happy when I leave him which is reassuring and I feel that he is progressing perfectly. I am happy and excited to watch him grow here.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 5 months old. She is now just starting big school. Every member of staff in this nursery is a credit to the owners, they treat your child as they would their own. When I ask my child about her friends, she includes staff names too. When she's off for a half-term holiday she will constantly talk about the staff and children there and how much she misses them. The fees are very reasonable compared to a lot of nurseries in this area also. My child has flourished here and is achieving above and beyond and I believe this is down to the hard work and determination of staff within her setting. Definitely have peace of mind leaving my daughter here for the day, wouldn't recommend anywhere else!

Loved everything in general. All the staff are lovely and welcoming. Enjoyed the day to day experience. I’ve had my little girl attend this nursery since she was six months old and I can’t speak highly enough of the care that she has received and continues to receive. My daughter is now two and loves this place. She sees the kind staff as family and always looks forward to seeing her friends. Her development has been fantastic both educationally and socially. I would not even think of sending my child anywhere else. Thank you so much!!
