Well what can I say, a very important choice for parents to make when choosing a nursery. Especially us being first time parents! We chose this nursery out of three we visited and many more reviewed online.


Our son has been going there since September 2024 at 9 months old and we are very happy and

pleased so far with the nursery and his progress.


Each day he is in we look forward to catching up with the staff to see how his day went when we pick him up; they make time to come and speak to you about his day and advise on next steps e.g. weaning of the bottle.


As first time parents it's one thing we don't have to worry about. Our son loves spending time there and the staff have gelled with him so much.


I am presuming it's because he's so adorable ha! But honestly when you speak to them they are very delightful and respectful.

My daughter has only been at Kids Planet for a few months, but I've been so impressed from the very start. She has settled in beautifully, and I truly believe that's down to the incredible staff. They welcome her with open arms every morning, and she goes in with the biggest smile on her face.
As a
first-time parent returning to work, you couldn't ask for anything more reassuring. The team really go above and beyond to get to know each child - their likes, routines, and how best to support their development.
She enjoys great food, lots of messy play, and clearly has a wonderful time. I would highly recommend Kids Planet to anyone looking for a home-from-home nursery with down-to-earth, kind, and genuinely caring staff.

The teachers and support offered at Kids Planet is really good, they go above and beyond. There's great clear communication at the end of the day, and my two boys really have fun here. My youngest has improved his communication by attending here as he was only saying a few words to begin with. I'm really
happy with my boy's development, all thanks to the Kid's Planet approach! Outstanding nursery. Definitely recommend.

The staff are incredible - patient, caring, and enthusiastic. The manager has been a rock for our family for years supporting my son's SEN needs and ensuring a smooth transition to primary school.
Could not recommend this nursery enough, so glad we sent both of our boys here and they have both had

We are very pleased with this nursery. Our daughter has been here since February 2022 and has always returned home happy on her nursery days. All staff members are professional and very friendly. We love the activities and events the nursery puts on, including outdoor visits. The lunches appear to be
on a cycle so it does feel they receive the same dishes quite frequently. We would like to receive more photos of the activities our child completes hence making more use of the app. Nevertheless, we will be sad to say goodbye to the nursery when our daughter begins school next year.

I’m very pleased with this nursery as I have been with them for a few years now for both my kids it has been a great experience for them and myself. The staff are amazing very kind, welcoming and helpful. They allow your child to play and learn. My once shy child is now outgoing and has become confident.

Both of my children go to this nursery, both of my children have learnt so much and I am so impressed with the development of my son in particular. My son was born just before COVID and missed out on so much for the first three years of his life, I didn't think he would be able to catch up with everything.
He didn't speak much at all before he started nursery, he started to speak so quick after joining nursery and has become a very social child and is doing pretty much everything a child his age should be doing. He has close bonds with all the teachers, he speaks about them all the time at home too. My daughter started nursery at 5 1/2 months and she amazes me at how much she learns at nursery, in my experience she has only become a fast learner and has so much skills for a 1 year old because of Kids Planet. Thank you so much to everyone at this nursery for being so understanding in all aspects. I would 100% recommend this nursery to everyone.

I love my daughter’s nursery, she thrives there, she has developed so much. The staff are wonderful, very supportive, really friendly, always available for a chat, and they have various activities throughout the year that parents can attend!
For me, the nursery is an extension of my family, where my
daughter loves going, seeing her friends, learning, and developing!
Also, the meals at the nursery are always varied and I love that my daughter gets to try so many flavours!

I am happy with how my son is learning new things every day. I used to spoon-feed him, but now at 19 months he is more independent. When I am picking him up from the nursery he cries and wants me to take him back, this is a sign that he is well taken care of. Everyone looks more friendly and I am happy
with the service offered.

My son started pre-school in September 2023 and he has settled in so well. All the staff are so friendly, caring and considerate.
Pre-school is really helping with my son's development. He is learning new skills every day, especially sharing and playing nicely with other children.
My son always
tells me that they do lots of different activities and are outdoors a lot, they also go out to the mobile library. This is also documented on the app with comments and photos which is lovely for parents to see and read and keep up to date. I have no doubt my son will continue to thrive at this nursery. Thank you to all the staff at Kids Planet, Edgbaston.

I am really pleased with the level of care for my daughter, every week she comes home learning something new, and doesn't stop talking about the staff. They have helped us with toilet training and she is now so confident. Feels like a second home.

I am a Mum of two young children, who have both attended Kids Planet Edgbaston which I think is the biggest compliment I can show my team, that I trust them with my own children. We are a homely setting, set in beautiful surroundings, with one of the best gardens you’ll find in Birmingham. We follow a child centred approach as they are our main purpose and priority in what we do! We would love for you to come and look around our setting so you can see it for yourself!
