I joined Kids Planet in 2012 after completing my Level 3 qualification at college, starting my career as a Keyworker before progressing to Nursery Manager in 2023. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about giving children the best possible start in life, supporting them to develop their confidence, independence and skills in preparation for school.
I strongly believe that working in partnership with parents and families is key to helping every child reach their full potential. Building trusting relationships and creating a welcoming, nurturing environment where children feel safe, secure and valued is something I take great pride in. One of the things I enjoy most about my role is walking around the nursery and seeing happy, settled children who feel confident and excited to learn.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time outdoors with my husband and daughter. We especially love going for walks around the lakes and visiting the park together at weekends.
