Melrose Nursery (Salisbury)

We recently moved to the area, and my daughter (who just turned 3) started at Melrose 2 months ago. We couldn't be happier with our choice to join Melrose! Not only did she suddenly become great at identifying letters all over the place, holding a pencil properly, and doing her own zippers and buttons, but, most importantly, her confidence has really grown. She is excited to see her friends and teachers every morning, and she loves telling us about all of the fun things she did when she gets home - and there are always a lot of really fun, creative activities to share! The Melrose staff are great at coming up with new and engaging ways to learn, create, and move every day. They have been kind, thoughtful, and attentive to her needs. During a long weekend recently, she told me on multiple occasions that she missed her teacher, which says multitudes. I feel so grateful that we discovered Melrose, and I'm excited to watch my daughter continue to thrive there.

We couldn't be happier with Melrose Nursery. Our 1-year-old has settled in so well and absolutely loves going each day. The staff are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about the children.

The settle-in sessions were so helpful and made the transition feel smooth and reassuring for both us and our daughter. The environment is warm, safe, and full of fun activities that encourage learning and development. Their communication is absolutely faultless, which gives us so much reassurance while we're at work. We also really appreciate that the staff allow us to come in at pick-up time and see how she is getting on, which makes us feel very involved and connected to her day.

Since starting here, our little one has become more confident, social, and independent. It's such a comfort knowing she is happy and well looked after. We're so grateful to the whole team at Melrose Nursery and would highly recommend them to any parent.

It's clear that Mel and Rose have built something very special; the team they have created is, in our view, exceptional. There isn't one person we could single out because each member of staff contributes to the nurturing, supportive environment that makes Melrose what it is. The difference in our son since joining this nursery is something we never imagined possible in such a short time. He feels secure, understood and valued. His confidence has grown enormously and he is truly flourishing.

Wow! I honestly don't know where to begin. Our daughter was extremely emotional at her previous nursery, especially during drop-offs and it became quite traumatic for me. After only a week at Melrose, she completely stopped crying during drop-offs. She's now been at Melrose for nearly a month, and in that short time she has built strong bonds with everyone and is flourishing in her new setting. We are beyond grateful to Mel, Rose, Daisy, Emily, and the whole team. From one very thankful mum, thank you for restoring my confidence in our daughter's care. Willow adores you all.

The new ownership of Melrose Nursery has completely transformed the setting. Prior to this I was looking into other settings to move my children to. My daughter now skips in happily everyday, always has a smile on her face and has developed so much in the last few months. My son has now moved on to school but was really sad to leave nursery and loves going back to visit when we collect his sister. The new ownership has brought a huge changes in terms of the building itself with all the work that has been done but most notably the happiness of the staff. It's clear they now feel valued, appreciated and are happy to be there each day.

Since the new ownership, Melrose Nursery has completely transformed into an outstanding setting. The owners demonstrate real commitment to children's welfare, supported by professional, well-trained and caring staff. The curriculum is engaging, carefully planned and adapted, ensuring children are happy, motivated and progressing well. The nursery promotes kindness, respect and independence, with calm routine and a nurturing atmosphere. Safeguarding is prioritised, facilities are secure and the refurbished environment, including safe and inviting outdoor area, encourages confidence and curiosity. We feel complete trust here and will send our second child in future.

Beautiful Nursery and great staff. My daughter has grown immensely and enjoys going to Melrose Nursery everyday. The environment is spacious, well organised and we, as parents, get updates daily and monthly regarding our child's development and how she's been settling in. There's plenty of space and activities the nursery arrange everyday. The nursery is clean and well put together. Member of staff are attentive and helpful. Overall satisfied.

I am a mother of two, with both children attending Melrose nursery. I genuinely can't say enough good things about it. My boys are really happy and absolutely love the staff. The staff are wonderful, kind, caring and experienced. You can tell they value and care about each individual child. The space is great as well, lovely open rooms, very clean, everything is brand new and beautiful. It's only been a few months but you can already tell it's going to be one of the top nurseries in Salisbury. Highly recommend!
