The team believes the quality of care for your children comes best through an experienced team of highly qualified early years staff, who are supported by a strong management team and trainees. All staff hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate, Safeguarding Training and have an enhanced DBS.
The nursery accepts children from the age of 3 months old, although the majority of new starters are 9-12 months of age when parent(s) return to work. From September 2024 The Manor Farm Nursery will likely be offering working parents who are eligible, the opportunity to claim funded hours (15 or up to 30 hours, 38 weeks a year), and for those turned 2 years old, claimable for the term after the child turns 2, from April 2024. This is in addition to the already universal and enhanced 15 or up to 30 hours claimable for 3-4 year olds.
What makes Manor Farm unique is that the property is owned and run by the two directors, husband and wife, who themselves have had three children use the nursery and continue to use the holiday club. Their vision is to provide a premium service to parents and their children, through reinvestment in technology (a Parent App for all your communications, child records, learning journals and accident or safeguarding reports, and invoices), in staff training (particularly with SEN, sign language and behaviour support, together with additional external teachers, such as dance classes) and facilities (animals, vegetable garden, safer parking, CCTV and boundary fencing).
Whilst the nursery is on an old farm, it is within boundaries not shared by the public (such as holiday cottages or other farm residents).

Choosing a nursery is one of the biggest decisions you make as a parent, and we truly couldn't be happier with our choice. From the very start, the team made us feel welcome and reassured. The settling-in process was thoughtful and supportive, and it was clear that our child's wellbeing was the priority.
The staff are warm, attentive and genuinely caring. They know her as an individual and celebrate her personality and progress. We receive lovely updates about her day, and it's clear she is learning, exploring and growing in confidence in a safe, stimulating environment.
The meals are varied and nutritious, and dietary requirements are handled with real care and attention, which gives us huge peace of mind.
Most importantly, she is excited to go in each day and comes home happy. We're incredibly grateful to the whole team and would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to other families.

Our daughter absolutely loves being at The Manor Farm Nursery. She loves being outside, and especially loves animals, and so the access to so much on a daily basis (fields, horses, donkeys, sheep, etc.) is absolutely perfect for her - and exactly how we want her to spend her days whenever possible....

The staff at Manor Farm are absolutely amazing - our daughter has such special bonds with them all, and is clearly going to a loving environment every day - which means she is always excited to be at nursery.

We could not be happier with the care and attention given to both our children who have attended Manor Farm (our eldest spent a year here before starting school, and our youngest joined in November 2021, aged 11 months. The staff at Manor Farm are absolutely incredible! Their genuine love and affection for all the children shines through - they always take the time to chat with parents at drop-off/pick-up to share lovely details about their little one’s day, and they regularly communicate and share photos and updates on the Famly app. I know wholeheartedly my son is happy and thriving and is in safe and capable hands. He has so much fun that I often have to convince him to leave at the end of the day! We are so grateful to have found such an amazing nursery. Manor Farm is incomparable to the two other nurseries our eldest son previously attended, it really is in a league of its own. We can’t thank the team enough for everything they do.
