Puddles Nursery

Sadly my daughter has to leave next month but we are really hopeful that she can return when she's entitled to her 3-year funding, and we will always have a special place in our hearts for the wonderful Puddles.

Fantastic nursery, my son loves it at Puddles. The staff are great and so are the facilities. My little one gets excited when he knows he’s going to nursery, they have helped him with so much since starting at Puddles.

My son has attended since August 2021 and is thriving. He started in babies room at 13 months old and at 2 years and 8 months his speech, understanding, confidence and empathy is beyond his age. He's made some very good friendships with children and staff. One particular staff member in the babies' room is a lovely positive lady and she enjoys being with the children. They've been brilliant in terms of putting my son down for a nap when he's tired following his cues as well as his nap time routine at home. Two staff members in the toddler room are great, every time I've collected my son I've observed him playing happily interacting with staff and children having fun. Any issues the managers have been quick to listen and resolve. The staff work very hard and are passionate at what they do, they deserve credit. In regards to the online diary, they are good at updating this but I do not mind if they don't, as clearly they are prioritising the care of the children's needs rather than updating a tablet.

Left my child in the same nappy the whole time he was there and just fobbed it off, also leave children unattended with no staff in a room. Not great at updates, about 10 pics since October. Lazy caretaking in my opinion, many times I turned up and staff where sat on tables with coats on looking bored and ready to leave, not even interacting with the few children still in the room.
