Flying Start Nursery & Preschool

We have used Flying Start for my son and now my daughter. We are really happy with the nursery and more importantly, our children have been. Our daughter is thriving and our son left well prepared for the next stage. We have recommended to friends and the staff are so warm and welcoming and clearly love children. The home-cooked food is an added bonus.

Welcoming and lovely staff who always have the best interests of your child in their hearts. The children are involved in the heart of the community with visits to the local farmers market, park, elderly home and the library. Such great experiences for the children to be involved in. Not to mention the fantastic Forest schools that the children attend on a regular basis. Where they feed crocodiles! Would recommend this place through and through. So happy my child is here and making a flying start!

When I leave my youngest I know she feels safe and wanted. I know there is someone there who in my place will give her a hug and comfort her if needed.

Every day my daughter comes home with a new skill, song or dance she’s learned. All of her excitement, creativity, interests, and ideas that she brings home stem from the huge amount and range of activities they do at nursery, both inside and out.

There are preschools with more space or facilities, but our experience has shown that these are not the most important things. It’s the staff and family atmosphere they create, that makes Flying Start so successful - the care they give is second to none and makes them an easy choice.

Fairford Nursery and Pre-School has been the second home for our daughter for the last 2 years. We have seen her thrive and develop well beyond our expectations due to the care and developmental support from the wonderful team at Flying Start. Across the board, Flying Start delivers everything we had hoped for from our local nursery but the difference that makes the nursery stand out is the caring and professional staff. I would highly recommend the nursery the professional and caring team that run it.

Our son has been at Flying Start since he was 9 months old and we have been delighted with their care from the beginning. They have supported him in development from learning to crawl to writing his name. They have challenged him to develop his learning and as a result, he was more than prepared for school. The nursery is more like a family - everyone knows each other and looks out for each other. We feel they haven't just cared for our son, they have loved him and we are very grateful.
