I have worked in Early Years for over 30 years, having gained my Level 3 qualification in 1992. Throughout my career, I have continued to develop my knowledge and skills, achieving Management Level 3, Level 5 and my Early Years Assessor qualification.
I joined Kids Planet Weston-super-Mare in 2014, when the nursery was Little Bears Day Nursery, initially as an Early Years Educator. Within 12 months, I progressed to Deputy Manager and then Nursery Manager. I also have many years’ experience working in local nurseries and am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children, families and our team can thrive.
Outside of nursery life, I enjoy reading, going to the gym and taking part in Park Yoga. In 2025, I also took up running for the first time, which has become a new passion of mine. My husband and I love travelling and touring Europe on our Ducati, with one of our most memorable adventures being our journey from Weston-super-Mare to Italy, including the spectacular Stelvio Pass.
I’m a huge Alice in Wonderland fan and enjoy collecting different editions of the book from around the world. Above all, I’m incredibly proud of my two grown-up children and their successful careers.
