The Green Door Nursery

Our 14MO son has been with Green Door for two months and loves it. We were nervous about starting nursery as we'd all recently relocated from London and really needed his settling in to go well, which is it - extremely well. The team were extremely communicative during the early stages of his settling in, make us feel comfortable and confident in how he was doing. Now he loves it, and is very happy to be dropped off, often being very smiley and happy to see the staff. He's not been at the nursery long but so far we're extremely pleased and happy with how he's doing. The staff are delightful and so enthusiastic! Our son eats like a trooper and sleeps great - all of which is great to see so early into starting nursery. Can't rate more highly, thank you for everything so far!

After moving back from America, where my son was born, and being a COVID baby, he didn't like to be away from us and has never been good with change. The Green Door was wonderful with his transition. They have been so thoughtful and thorough with his care and continued taking the time to understand his needs while also providing sound advice, which we found helpful. My son's language and speech were delayed, so they provided additional personal care from their highly trained staff to give him confidence and extra assistance. The activities are inclusive and diverse, the food/snacks are yummy and healthy, and the staff are fantastic! We're extremely sad he is leaving Green Door to start school next month, but we know that he is leaving fully ready for the next stage and with lots of memories, thanks to Green Door! Thank you, for everything!

Enrolling our 18-month-old at Green Door was one of the best decisions we made. Green Door offered a calm and extremely nurturing environment, with a lot of personal focused attention, during an intense 5-day week across two nurseries. The staff embraced and nourished him in incredible ways - evident by the fact our son regularly named his key workers at home. These wonderful ladies gave our bilingual child so much attention and care, supporting him through his emotional struggles, first explorations of both English and Polish languages, as well as his potty training. They gave him help and love above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. We will have no hesitation, should we be lucky enough to have a second child, in sending them to Green Door again. The nursery has been a huge asset to our son's life, and to our early time as parents, and laid important and positive foundations for us all to build on. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Absolutely wonderful little place. My son was welcomed and settled in well. The staff did an amazing job transitioning him into the toddler group and later into pre-school. The staff are very competent and friendly. I always enjoy the full report I get at pick-up, explaining his day and the opportunity to discuss needs, behaviours and habits. My son loves one particular nursery nurse and will miss them all a great deal. Thank you for looking after my child so well.

A lovely nursery. My toddler has a great time here, doing a range of activities everyday! They also have lots of time outside in the garden and with trips to the local park which is great. The staff are lovely and give detailed updates of what the children have been up to and how their day has been.

Both of our daughters have attended The Green Door Nursery, with our youngest just about to leave for school. They have both loved their time here and over our five years at the nursery, we have had no issues or reason for complaint. The nursery is small enough to not be too overwhelming with a nice number of children in each room. The activities are great with fun arts and crafts projects, weekly forest school and plenty of role play. There is a focus on the early stages of learning alongside a nice balance of fun. The staff have always been friendly, the management is professional and approachable and the app means you get pictures and updates each day. We would very much recommend this nursery to others and will be sad to say goodbye!

Our daughter has spent the last 18 months in the baby room and toddler room and absolutely loved it. She settled in much faster than with previous daycare settings and didn’t stop talking about the staff in the evenings. She has always been excited to go on her nursery days, been busy with lots of creative activities and time outside and our main praise is for the staff who have all been outstandingly friendly, smiley and kind to the littluns. Being in Bristol the outdoor space is small but has been out to good use. We are sad to leave!

The nursery has cared for both of our kids over the past few years and our second child has just finished ready for school. They've both been really happy there and I have been especially pleased with the kindness and professionalism of the staff.
