Several of our children have attended Oak Tree Nursery, and we cannot stress enough what a fantastic start it has given them in life. Superb staff, a beautiful location, and really genuine care and attention given to each of them. We’ve seen our children and others flourish at Oak Tree.
Please note
this is available for those both at the university, and in the local community, and we highly recommend contacting them if you are looking for childcare.

Oak Tree Nursery is a superb place. Our little boy started at the nursery a few months ago and they made his transition from being at home with mum to being in nursery full time an incredibly smooth process for all involved. My son adores coming in and I can see he is very well cared for by all the
staff there. The staff are bright and cheerful every morning and they have quickly got to know my son really well. It is a simple nursery on a beautiful campus with well qualified and long standing staff.

This nursery and preschool are available for all to use, not just students and staff of the Uni! The best thing about it is that there are no top-up fees so an economical childcare option. Our son has blossomed here. The staff are amazing and they have helped our little boy grow and be the best that
he can be. The staff's names are mentioned more than mine is in our house! The environment is stunning, the buildings are set on the rural grounds of Bath Spa Uni. There is a private enclosed garden, surrounded by fields, woods, a beautiful river and livestock. The children explore the wider grounds regularly on their various expeditions. Our little one spends his days making mud pies in the outdoor kitchen and running from morning until night, he has a lot of energy. His learning has come on leaps and bounds and his independence has gone from strength to strength. We love Oak Tree Day Nursery and have no hesitation in recommending it to any family looking to give their little ones the best start in life.

Our daughter started Oak Tree Day Nursery in September 2021 and we couldn't have wished for a better nursery for her to be in. We were impressed straight away by how friendly the staff were and how well they understood and interacted with the children. The facilities are great and allow her to take
part in lots of fun activities like playing outside and making things. She particularly loves the range of books, playing with toys and dancing to music, not to mention the wide selection of food. We can really see how much care and attention she is given and how well staff have got to know her in a short space of time. The nursery follows a curriculum that shows how they are dedicated to developing the children and allowing them to learn. The communication is fantastic and we are always excited to receive daily reports as well as monthly newsletters, showing what the children have been doing. Thanks to all the team for all your care and friendliness, it's greatly appreciated.

We feel fortunate that our child could attend Oak Tree Nursery for 3 and a 1/2 years. Ever since she joined at 6-months-old, all staff have been amazing, providing a loving and nurturing environment in which our daughter flourished. Not only the excellent staff-children ratio, but the care of her dedicated
key person meant close attention to her individual needs and development. In terms of activities, there is a great mixture between play, forest school, music, numeracy, literacy, cultural activities and learning to be mindful and caring with each other. Seeing her run happily through the gates in the morning was always so reassuring, as was picking her up bubbling joyfully about friends and things experienced and learned. The way the staff managed the difficult time of the pandemic by staying in touch during lockdown, and carefully reintegrating the children, also made nursery a place of safety and stability. We will always be thankful to you and most highly recommend Oak Tree Nursery.

We love this nursery. The staff have lovingly cared for our two boys with kindness over the years and both sons settled and thrived here. They really care for the children as individuals and cater to their needs sensitively. The outside play is ideal and the wider university setting has allowed our
boys to go on adventurous walks and explore further afield. The nursery manager and staff have further helped and supported us as parents, helping us through various transitions such as having a new baby brother, sleep routines, potty training and preparation to leave the nursery and start school. Our youngest loves being there so much, that he often doesn't want to come home when we go to collect him!
