Funding & Fees
The Cornerstone Day Nursery & Pre-School provides high quality childcare in a warm, nurturing environment, open 51 weeks a year from 7:30am–6pm. As your fee pack states, “we are committed to providing a friendly, secure, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.”
We offer both funded and private childcare, with flexible booking patterns to suit family needs.
For children aged 0–2, regular bookings range from £9.60–£10.80 per hour, with ADHOC sessions charged at £12.00 per hour.
For children aged 2–5, regular bookings range from £8.80–£9.90 per hour, with ADHOC sessions also at £12.00 per hour.
Our Holiday Club (5–14 years) is charged at £10.00 per hour.
Breakfast is £2.10, snacks £1.00, lunch £5.00 and tea £3.00.
Children attending 5 or more private hours per day receive all meals included.
A 10% sibling discount is available for the eldest child on full-paying fees.

My daughter has been going to cornerstone for the last two and a half years full time and is doing very well. She's always loved the staff and room leads and there's always something fun and dynamic happening. We've rarely ever had a day where she doesn't want go to nursery. The setting is well maintained and of a good size with good outdoor space which is well used for creative activities. More recently she's particularly enjoyed the nature activities such as looking after the new ducklings or the caterpillars.
My daughter has been attending this nursery since August 2025 and she absolutely loves it! The staff have created such a warm and safe environment for her, she's always so happy to go in.
Recently my daughter has experienced some separation anxiety and I can't speak highly enough of the team. They've helped with her transitions and put things in place, and as a result, her anxiety is easing.
The time, care and dedication the nursery gives to my child is incredible and I couldn't be more grateful for their support. Cornerstone is an excellent nursery, that I'd recommend 100 times over.
I cannot speak about this nursery highly enough! The staff are calm, patient, caring and knowledgeable of my child and know how to help her progress academically but also emotionally. They always greet you with a smile and take the time to check in about how my child's morning has been. They also feedback on my daughter's day too.
My daughter has been there since she was about 1 and from the get go she loved it. She still does to this day. She's particularly loved watching duck eggs hatch and then watching them grow before they go to their forever home. So many wonderful experiences for her!
I have no worries about the nursery and preschool, only that I'm sad that she'll be leaving for "big school" soon because they have had such an impact to our whole families lives. 100/10 for everything.

We receive regular updates about her day and activities she is doing along with photos, which has made the transition feel much easier!
She loves going and rushes in and waves me off every time.
All the staff are lovely and very attentive and always give me a thorough handover and update at the end of the day including about food, sleep and nappies.
She has come on so much developmentally since being at nursery and all the staff are invested in her development. We even had a parents evening recently where they discussed the milestones and development areas she was excelling in and what they would be working on next!
Overall very happy
The staff are cooperative, kind and very experienced, which really shows in the way they care for the children. Hayden and Liz mainly look after my son and they are both fantastic. Their handovers at the end of the day are always detailed and thorough, which I really appreciate as a parent. They are both great assets to the nursery. The rest of the staff are equally as good, and it's reassuring to know my son is surrounded by such a caring and capable team.
My son is always happy to go into nursery and often wants to stay longer when I come to collect him - which says everything about how much he enjoys being there. The nursery provides a wide range of act
Our son goes here and is excited to run through the doors in the morning. They are informative in the eyfs framework and good with communication with their events. Easy to get hold of and very accommodating. I would highly recommend.
My daughter has settled in extremely well to Cornerstone Day Nursery. All of the staff are lovely and extremely caring, and get to know the children really well. They plan a variety of activities for the children, and often go outside to play when the weather allows. The selection of food that is offered is great, and always includes a variety of fruit and veg. Highly recommend!
My little girl loves it here, the staff are all so attentive and she is often sent home with paintings and drawings. I always get a full run down of how she has done each day and regular photos. So glad we got her in here would highly recommend them.
My daughter has been at Cornerstones Nursery for a few months and she really enjoys going. I highly recommend and the staff are all great with her. After every session I get a breakdown of what she has been doing including food, naps and nappy changes.
Very happy with the care our little boy receives at this nursery. Staff are great and our boy loves going here. The staff are really attentive which fills me with confidence leaving my son with them for the day. Highly recommend.
