Little Owls Day Nursery (Toftwood)

My eldest has been to three nurseries in the last 2.5 years, and I cannot recommend Little Owls enough, they've been extremely helpful with his speech delay and encouraged him to learn new words and now help to assist him with his speech therapist and are very accommodating. My youngest also goes to this nursery, and the staff are so incredible; they're friendly and really good with both of the kids. They offer an incredible range of food and always have options for my daughter who is lactose intolerant.

The setting itself is outstanding; there's something for everyone and of every age.

I will miss taking my son to nursery when he starts school in September.

The team all care for him and will always let us know if he has had a bad day or achieved something. Tapestry is a brilliant way to show the family how our son behaves away from the home and we can see how the staff interact and encourage his daily learning.

My little boy attends Snowy Owls and I am continually impressed with all the care and support he receives. The staff and management team are fantastic and always go the extra mile to update me on what he has been doing, what he has learnt, new friendships and sharing key moments. More recently, I attended the Mothers' Day morning organised by the nursery. So much thought and attention went into this event and made it a truly special experience, the kids loved it, as did us mums. Thank you so much for everything you do, I couldn't ask for better care.

Little Owls is a fantastic early years setting for little ones to develop and socialise in. My little boy loves going to nursery and can’t wait to play and get involved with all the brilliant activities and facilities they provide. There is a great variety of facilities within each of the nurseries, including some lovely outdoor play equipment. All the staff I have come across have been so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

My daughter started Little Owls in July, she settled in extremely quickly and I can only put that down to all the wonderful staff at Little Owls. Having already had my little boy attend the nursery for 4 Years prior, there were no other places I would have even considered. Nothing is ever too much trouble, they go above and beyond every day. I leave my daughter there with nothing but confidence that they will always be doing the best by the children in their care.

Our son joined the nursery at nine months old. We were apprehensive about putting him in full-time childcare at first, but we were quickly reassured by the standard of care at Little Owls. He settled in really well and has thrived at the nursery ever since. The nursery staff take a real interest in the children and get to know their personalities very well. We recently had a second child and the support our son received as he adapted to our new addition has been fantastic. We feel certain our new baby will settle into life at Little Owls just as well as our son.

The facilities for the children are brilliant inside and outside.

My son attends the scarning site and is very happy, he’s settled very well and when upset or unsure he’s supported through those emotions (even when related to the entrance music). He loves the cooked food and always eats well at nursery. Always found the communication between staff and myself and my son very good. Think my son's reaction to nursery gives me confidence in the quality of the setting as he is always very happy to go in and spend the day at ‘his work’. He always has a lot to say about what he’s been doing in a day and is very much enjoying his time in barn owls feeding the horses this week was a big highlight

Little Owls is an amazing nursery my daughter loves it. She started at 11 months old and struggled with the first few sessions but once started doing full days has loved it. She is in Tawneys and all the nursery nurses are lovely and take real pride in looking after the children. She is fed very well with healthy fresh meals and snacks which is her favourite part of the day so very important. Her key worker takes time to get to know her likes and dislikes and will change certain activities to suit and will also have time to explain my little one's day. I was very worried about her going to nursery as she had been a very clingy baby but it's the best thing we did and I can't thank Little Owls enough.

Little Owls have been looking after my son for over 2 years and have played a huge role in his development. The staff are friendly and look after the children fantastically. I have complete faith leaving my son in the care of Little Owls.

Security is very good and I have never felt like my child could escape. I know he is safe and looked after at Little Owls.

My experience of Little Owls is exceptional absolutely excellent staff who always put out child's needs as a top priority and always put our children first. A top class nursery who don't fail to disappoint.

Little Owls is an outstanding nursery, both my children speak fondly of staff and never want to miss a day. Nothing is ever too much trouble and staff always work with parents to ensure children achieve milestones and provide excellent play to enhance development. I can't and won't recommend any other nursery.

The welcome and care my two children have received from Little Owls Day Nursery (Toftwood) has been outstanding. My eldest child left 3 years ago to start primary school and is still greeted with affection and attention. My youngest child attends the nursery presently and thoroughly enjoys her sessions. She has made some excellent friendship bonds with children and nursery staff. Little Owls Day Nursery (Toftwood) have a varied curriculum and use the limited outside space to the max! The children often lead the afternoon activities which is refreshing when it is something the children enjoy.

Starting our son in nursery was a very nerve-racking time for us. After arranging a viewing at the nursery, we were instantly made to feel welcome and reassured that our son's best interests were in the staff's hearts. The communication has been outstanding, staff have always called me as soon as our son has settled if we have had a difficult drop-off and they update Tapestry regularly so we can see what he's been up to. Our son has made a solid bond with his key worker, and other staff and talks about them and nursery often at home! Choosing Little Owls was the best decision we made, our son is thriving and learning quickly with the support of the staff! A massive thank you from us!
