 Morning sessions include breakfast only. Afternoon sessions include an afternoon snack. All day session includes breakfast & afternoon snack. Optional daily charge of £2.50 to cover snacks and breakfast (does not apply for under 6 months old or if there is a dietary medical condition). Parents/Carers can opt out of paying the daily fee - please speak to the office (must bring own snack)

Parents/carers welcome to bring a packed lunch. Hot lunch is available for £4 per day. All prices correct from 04/03/2026

My daughter started Applewood Nursery at 10months old in September 2016, I was very apprehensive about sending her to nursery & that coupled with me still breastfeeding on demand made the situation all the more tough.

Needless to say, I had nothing to worry about, applewood nursery had a home away from home feel & the staff were all so reassuring and accommodating to mine and my daughter's needs, they allowed me to go and breastfeed whenever necessary & couldn't have been more supportive of our breastfeeding journey. My daughter settled in so quickly! The daily sheet my daughter gets means I know exactly what she's been up to including when she's napped and eaten, The tapestry online app is fantastic and means that I get to see pictures & videos of her in the nursery. Her key worker is very friendly and approachable as are all the staff, & I feel totally at ease in the knowledge my child is well looked after & happy while I'm working. Definitely, recommend.
