Ramsey Day Nursery offers a warm, home-from-home environment where babies and young children are supported to learn, grow, and develop happily.

The nursery provides care for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years, encouraging every child to explore their natural curiosity and learn through play. The setting is Ofsted-rated Good (September 2023) and is organised into four key rooms, each thoughtfully designed to support children’s holistic learning and development. Children also benefit from a well-planned outdoor space that enhances learning and physical development.

A team of experienced and friendly early years practitioners is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. Strong partnerships with parents are actively promoted, with regular updates and photos shared throughout the day to keep families informed - from daily routines to important milestones — ensuring parents never miss a moment of their child’s journey.

In addition, Foxes Out of School Club is available for children aged 4 to 11 years, offering before- and after-school care as well as holiday club provision during school holidays.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The management team in the office are always very quick to respond to any queries and are extremely helpful and approachable, which gives great peace of mind as a parent. Communication is clear and consistent, and it's reassuring to know that any questions or
concerns are dealt with promptly.
The nursery staff are absolutely amazing and truly go above and beyond every day. They are caring, attentive, and create such a warm and welcoming environment for the children. It's clear how much effort they put into making sure every child feels comfortable, supported, and happy while they are there.
Our child settled into the new room so well and always comes home happy, which says a lot about the wonderful team and the nurturing atmosphere they create. We're very grateful for all the hard work and dedication from everyone at the nursery and would highly recommend it to other parents looking for a safe, caring, and supportive place for their child

The staff have always been really helpful and accommodating when I have needed extra childcare. Staff are all very friendly and professional. Children always seem happy and well cared for. Good safeguarding procedures in place. Lots of interesting activities.

All the staff seems very compassionate and caring and definitely put family first. There is lots f communication between the nursery and parents which is a positive. My child loves attending nursery and I have no doubt it has helped her development in early years.

We are extremely happy with Ramsey Day Nursery. Our daughter loves attending and is very fond of all staff members, very often talking about them outside of the nursery. They go above and beyond with recognizing and acting upon individual needs and care for the children. Communication is always fantastic,
especially concerning SEND.

My child loves the girls here. The staff are great. Management obviously treats it like a business but is a lot less flexible than before. Management in the nursery are great though. There are some lovely activities.

Both my kids have had a fantastic experience at Ramsey Day Nursery. They have both built their confidence and really have given them the best opportunity to thrive when moving into full-time education.
They are also understanding of any issues you raise with them and always try to accommodate wherever
they can.
As for the staff I feel like they should be given lots of credit, I have always felt that my kids would be safe with them and that they would be treated as I would treat them at home with respect, understanding and sympathy.
All in all it’s a brilliant nursery and would highly recommend.

Being an Early Years teacher, I was keen to find a nursery for my daughter that aligned with the curriculum, but that also had a caring and nurturing ethos. Ramsey Day Nursery has more than lived up to those expectations and we have never felt concerned about any aspect of our daughter’s care. The staff
are incredibly warm and loving and you can see how much my daughter enjoys going in the mornings. The environment is wonderful, especially the garden. All the children get on well and play together. My daughter has met lots of nice friends and we have met some really nice parents.
We have signed my second child up for September and I know they will receive the same level of love and care. We couldn’t recommend them enough.

My child has been with Ramsey Day Nursery since he was 9 months old and this was his last month before school. He had loved his time at the nursery and they have fully supported his progression from a little baby to the little boy he is now, ready to start school. They have sent regular updates on his
progress and supported his learning which has helped him become very confident. I don’t feel his start at school would have gone as smoothly if it wasn’t for his time at Ramsey Day Nursery.

Kyrie Carter

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2018

Hello, I'm Kyrie. I joined the nursery in March 2018, but I've been working in childcare since 2004. I hold an Early Years Foundation Degree at Level 5 and have built my career from room leader to nursery manager in 2013. Along the way, I helped build up a new acquisition from a 20-place nursery to a 106-place setting, an experience that taught me so much about leadership and growth.


My approach to childcare is kind, caring and friendly. I believe strong relationships with both parents and staff are essential to creating a thriving setting where everyone feels supported and valued.


What I love most about this job is being able to see children develop from babies to pre-schoolers, and supporting families and practitioners through that journey of growth. It's a privilege to be part of those early years and to watch children and teams flourish together.
