As a first time parent, sending my baby to nursery at 9.5 months (May 2025) was hard. However my first impression of Hopscotch proved right and it has been exceptional. My daughter, now 19 months, smiles when I drop her off and enters through their doors without even looking back :) She has made beautiful connections with other babies/toddlers and staff members, she is stimulated and also has time to relax and regulate. When concerns have been raised, they have been looked into promptly, professionally and respectfully. I feel staff genuinely care for our little ones. I cannot recommend Hopscotch enough.

Our daughter has attended Hopscotch Worthing from October 2025. The team are attentive to requests we make regarding all aspects of our daughter's care, and she comes home each evening happy and repeating the names of key workers and her little pals. The team arrange engaging activities for the children, and we appreciate the inclusive nature of the nursery. My daughter is very happy attending Hopscotch and this is the most important for me as a mom! She settled very well, and loves the staff and the facilities provided. The nursery also provides music well-being sessions with a staff member which I find very important for the spiritual balance of the children and as a way to release their emotions by singing and dancing! The team is young, energetic and always smiling and adds even more positive vibes to the nursery! Keep up the great work!
Wonderful nursery with lovely staff members who have made both of our children feel welcome and settled as well as really making us feel comfortable as parents. Really great for frequent communication with staff and easy to communicate with staff using their app. The nursery staff do a great job of making you feel involved by adding photos and a summary of the children's day onto their app for parents to view, and all information is easily accessible throughout the day on how your child is getting on. They've really helped our children's development so far and we're extremely happy with the curriculum our children are being taught whilst at nursery and how it aligns with their development needs socially, physically and emotionally. Also, the nursery staff do a fantastic job at feedback and advice on how to carry on the learning at home also. Whilst our children have not been at the nursery long we are extremely happy with everything so far and would definitely recommend this nursery.

He hasn't always attended regularly due to falling unwell a lot and when we needed to adjust his times they have been happy to switch it around for us.

I love going on countryside walks with my 2 crazy cocker spaniels, my daughter and my husband!
My journey in education started when I was quite young, thanks to my parents, who were both teachers. Their influence sparked my passion for caring, teaching, and learning. Before coming to the UK, I worked as a primary school teacher in Spain. My adventure in education continued in Brighton, where I started working in a nursery. Here, I became familiar with the early years curriculum, which led me to study in Chichester to obtain my Early Years Teacher status. Over the past 15 years, I have worked in various nurseries, ranging from a qualified teacher to management as an area manager. For nearly three years, I have been with Hopscotch, previously managing Hopscotch West Hove before moving to Hopscotch Worthing.
Being around children has always brought me joy, and I cherish the opportunity to support them in their early years and connect with their families. One of my favourite activities with the children is engaging in role play, allowing them to explore their imagination and fostering those all-important conversations to enhance their critical thinking skills and promote their communication and language skills.
A fun fact about myself is I lived in Dubai and Mauritius for a few years!
I began my journey in childcare through an apprenticeship, where I quickly discovered my passion for nurturing young minds. This led me to achieve my Level 3 qualification, working closely with babies and toddlers during some of the most important early stages of their development. Through dedication and a love for learning, I progressed into the roles of team leader and later deputy, allowing me to support both children and colleagues in creating a warm, inspiring environment.
I have been part of the Hopscotch family for two and a half years and, before this, had the pleasure of working alongside Nicole and Laura for several years. Building strong, trusting relationships with colleagues has been a key part of my journey and something I truly value.
What I enjoy most about working with children is that no two days are ever the same. Each child brings their own unique personality, imagination, and curiosity, making every day exciting and rewarding. I love being able to embrace my playful side, support children as they explore the world around them, and celebrate the little quirks that make each child so wonderfully individual. Watching children grow in confidence and achieve new milestones is what makes this career so special to me.
