Our daughter joined Hopscotch at 6 months old and has thoroughly loved her time there. The staff are friendly, helpful and have tended to and supported our daughter’s extra care needs throughout her time there as needed. We couldn’t speak highly enough of Hopscotch and would recommend them without hesitation.
We are so happy with Hopscotch, our son has been there since he was 7 months old and has grown lovely relationships with the team. We could not be happier, he has thrived in this environment and learnt important skills and loves the other children in his group.
Hopscotch is an outstanding nursery where the staff are attentive to my children's needs and keep us informed as to how they are getting on throughout the day. My children have both thrived at Hopscotch and we will be very sad to leave in September!

My daughter joined Hopscotch West Hove in March 2024, and she absolutely loves it. There are always so many fun activities planned throughout the day, the soft playroom is incredible, and the staff and friendly and helpful. The hot meals available from Little Tums are a huge bonus too - my daughter loves them, and it’s great to know she’s had a nutritious, hot meal while she’s at nursery.

We couldn’t be happier with the way that Daniela has progressed since starting at Hopscotch Portland Road she loves her time there and settled very well and quickly ,that is down to the hard work, kindness and dedication of the lovely team. Natasha is the Nursery Manager at Hopscotch West Hove.
I am from New Zealand and have lived in the UK for 6.5 years now!
After working in a children’s centre that provided respite and emergency care for 3-12-year-olds in New Zealand, it piqued my interest in early years. I moved to England in 2019 and started at Hopscotch as bank staff, completed my level 3 apprenticeship, spent time as a lead practitioner and became a deputy manager in 2023. I have been with Hopscotch for 6 years.
I love seeing children meet different developmental milestones, both big and small, as well as seeing them make connections and increase their understanding through exploring their environment and active play.

I have been with Hopscotch for three years after completing my Degree in Primary Education. While gaining experience across Early Years and Primary settings, I discovered a real passion for Early Years teaching and supporting children’s interests and curiosity. I began my journey at Hopscotch in the Toddler Room, later gaining experience in Pre-School, and am now proud to be Deputy Manager and INCO, working closely with our wonderful team and children.
My favourite part of working with children is being part of and facilitating new experiences; hearing thoughtful questions, seeing curiosity being sparked, and eyes widening as new discoveries are made.
I’m a bubbly, positive person who loves music, sunshine, bright colours, and spreading positivity. I also enjoy spending time with family and getting outdoors. One thing people might not expect is that I’m genuinely fascinated by health and safety. I know some people find it a bit boring, but I’m genuinely interested in it and really enjoy learning about it and risk assessing everything!
I love talking with children and being part of their world; their honesty, curiosity, and imagination always make me smile. I enjoy supporting them as they explore the world around them and begin to understand their emotions.
