Hopscotch Children's Nurseries - Brighton

I’ve made such successful birthday cakes for my daughters over the years that I’m now the family’s go-to dessert chef for all our get-togethers!

My journey in childcare began at the very nursery I attended as a child, where I later completed my school work experience. I went on to achieve my Childcare and Education qualification there before joining Hopscotch. I spent a year as Deputy Manager at our St Ann’s Well branch before moving into my current role as Manager at Preston Park. Here I’ve completed my Leadership and Management qualification. I am passionate about developing both the nursery and my team, and I take great pride in supporting positive outcomes for children and their families. I have now been part of the Hopscotch family for 20 years.

I love reading with children—especially Julia Donaldson stories, which I know almost by heart! It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of each child’s journey as they grow and develop. Supporting and nurturing children every day is what makes this role so special to me.

Jessica is the deputy manager of Hopscotch Preston Park.

Ana is the Early Years Teacher at Hopscotch Preston Park.

I always had a passion for working with children, so I decided to study for my L3 in childcare at college. I then went on to university in London to study Primary education. Once back in Brighton, I started working at Hopscotch, and almost 12 years later, I’m still here!

I especially enjoy supporting children who require additional support at nursery. Working closely with the families and keyworkers and seeing the progress that the children make is very rewarding.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching women’s football.
