Weydown Nursery is a nurturing, child-centred early years setting dedicated to providing high-quality care and education within a warm, inclusive environment. Rooted in Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles and enriched by Forest School experiences, the team value curiosity, independence and meaningful relationships as the foundations of early learning. Weydown Nursery’s practice promotes British Values, emotional wellbeing and inclusive provision for all children, including those with EAL and additional needs. Through thoughtfully planned environments, reflective teaching and strong partnerships with families, Weydown Nursery supports every child to feel safe, valued and inspired to explore the world around them.

The team are friendly, professional, and genuinely care about the children. My child settled in so well and now looks forward to going every day. It's reassuring to see how much attention and support they give to each child. The communication is great, and I always feel informed about what my child
has been doing and learning. I've noticed a real boost in confidence and development since starting here. I drop off each morning knowing my child is safe, happy, and in great hands - I couldn't ask for more.

Our daughter has been in the baby room for nearly a year and we have been so pleased with the caring and professional staff. The activities they run are age appropriate and help natural development. Would highly recommend.

Amazing nursery, manager is brilliant and very understanding, always willing to offer support. Highly recommend this place for your children, mine absolutely love it there. Also to add the manager is accommodating to my children's SEN needs fully and will work closely with myself to ensure they have
a great experience.

My child is thriving at Weydown. She struggled to settle at drop off when she first started and they really allowed us to go at the pace she needed. She is also having a really flexible move from the baby room to the toddler room and they allow her to decide for herself which room she would like to
be in and when each day. We have been able to ask for the days we would like her to attend and there's never been an issue, and we also pay a little extra to start her at 8am due to our commute which they have accommodated as well. It's a really friendly accommodating place where every child seems to be treated as the individual they are so I would recommend it :) Thank you Weydown!

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. Our son has been attending for almost a year, and the teachers are truly amazing - warm, caring, and very dedicated. The activities are fantastic, with a great balance of fun and learning, and we've seen so much positive growth in him. The small groups mean
each child gets real attention and can fully be themselves. The team knows our son so well, and he absolutely loves going, he often doesn't want to leave at the end of the day! As parents, we feel known, respected, and very well supported. We highly recommend this nursery.

Staff are incredibly friendly and always greet my children with smiles and excitement to start their day. The nursery is very close to the train station so great for my commute to work. Very impressed with the running and structure of the nursery but above all my children are happy and excited to return
each day and that tells me everything as parent I need to know

A dream experience so far!
My child started in Autumn 2024 and I have had zero regrets since. The smaller class size of the baby room compared to other nurseries means my child gets a lot of one-to-one time, and has made amazing leaps in learning and confidence since joining.


My child has never

cried when dropping off since the team took so much time to arrange a slow introduction. All the staff are so kind, and I don't worry at all whilst my child is there. There is an excellent app which gives daily updates and pictures to parents. My child loves the nursery so much they don't want to come home - what more can you ask for?!
