Rookies Day Nursery

I can not express in words how much Rookies Day Nursery has supported and made my children's nursery experience as bright and fun-filled as possible. With what you offer from lovely engaging activities to strong welcoming bonds with staff. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, the rooms are inviting offering great play opportunities. My children always seemed satisfied with the food choices. Helping to support them gain independence skills and furthering their learning, they have developed so much since being at Rookies. Thank you!

My daughter has been at Rookies 5 days a week since she was 9 months old and now in her last year. I cannot fault Rookies for anything. They have been amazing and my daughter has always enjoyed it. The activities, the food, the parents interaction and the annual days/events, I honestly can’t praise them enough in all areas

Rookies is an amazing nursery. Our little girl really loves it here. The staff are really bubbly, friendly and caring; they always go the extra mile to make sure your child is happy and well cared for. Our little girl has formed a lovely bond with her key worker and other teachers in her room. The staff really help to encourage your child to reach milestones when they are ready; they really helped our daughter with learning to walk, brushing her teeth and toilet training. The staff do so many different activities with the children, and each day they do something new! External companies come in and conduct classes for the children weekly. Our little girl has formed some lovely little friendships and continues to thrive every day. I would highly recommend Rookies to everyone.

Great nursery, clean and has very friendly staff. External activities coming in adds that bit extra for the kids, which we really rate. Nursery itself is spacious, bright and tidy. My child has gained so many new skills and enjoys going in.

My child really loves it at Rookies and it is so reassuring to see her so happy and thriving. We know she is safe and well looked after and cared for and an example of this is that she loves having cuddles with her key workers and the other adults. All the teachers are warm and enthusiastic and the children all seem happy and content. Thank you!

We really struggled to get our little boy to settle down with a child minder and was really hesitant to try a nursery. We visited Rookies Day Nursery and instantly got a really good vibe. After a little bit of settling, our son absolutely loves going to nursery now and I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. We’ve even been offered free childcare from a grandparent due to a change in circumstances and instantly turned it down due to how much we love sending him here. Thanks everyone!

We have a child in both cubs and rangers and could not be happier with the nursery. Both my boys have come on so much since starting and the staff have been brilliant in keeping us updated on their progress as well as asking our input in regards to what we would like them to work on more. All staff we have met have been so friendly and helpful, and our boys love their key workers which is so lovely to see. We cannot thank the nursery enough for all the support in settling them both in!

Rookies is a lovely nursery. My son is very happy there. The staff are friendly and caring. The staff have great knowledge and are always willing to help. My son has formed a genuine bond with his key worker and lots of the adults there. He has made lots of friends there and I am so pleased to see him excited to go to nursery. They always have a big variety of activities and my son learns so much. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

Rookies is a purpose-built day nursery with excellent facilities and good size rooms that the children progress through. We have had a child attend here since opening and the nursery staff have improved greatly along with the activities and child development. The catering is also a very good standard. I highly recommend to future parents.

When my child started with Rookies we were so impressed with the level of service, learning and care he was receiving. But following a number of changes in management and staff leaving, I’m afraid I found all of the above suffered. The inconsistency with staff, low level of teaching and experience had a massive impact on my child’s development. In the last few months, he was like a different child. So much so that we had to take him out of the setting. And what a difference we have seen in him since. Best decision we made.

The staff have been fantastic with my child. They have helped so much with his development (especially toilet training when we was struggling). I was impressed when I first saw the building and the experience has lived up to what I saw. The management are so helpful. The extra classes on offered where really good too.
