Watership Downs Nursery

This nursery has been an amazing first placement for my daughter. As a first time mum I was completely reassured by the wonderful staff who kept me updated as and when I needed. The care is outstanding and my daughter is excelling here, she is always happy to go in and has come on leap and bounds in her development. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough!

The absolute best nursery. The staff are so attentive and treat the children as their own. Having tried 2 previous private nurseries in the past, my older son struggled. I contacted the manager at Watership Downs and she took him in straight away. He has thrived ever since and has been going there for 4 years. Both my sons now attend and love their time there. The staff are brilliant and there is a wide range of activities with my boys always bringing artwork home. The team are fantastic with safeguarding and will always help us with the next stages such as potty training etc and provide detailed updates of the children's days. Watership Downs is a home from home for my boys and I couldn't think of anywhere better.

In short, we could not recommend this nursery highly enough.

The staff are really lovely and it is a warm and happy environment. My 3 year old is very happy there, he likes the staff, his friends, the playground next door and is always telling the food is yummy. My 5 year old is picked up from school by the nursery a few times a week, around my husband's shifts, which has helped us out so much. Highly recommend.

Amazing nursery, staff are fantastic. My little girl has been coming here since the beginning of the year and they have really helped with settling her in. Her speech has also come a long way due to the time the teachers have given her, she has made a lovely friendship group and always comes home telling us what great activities she has done throughout the day. The food is cooked fresh every day and it is a varied menu, Thai green curry & chili con carne being my little one's favourites! Overall, not one bad word to say, would highly recommend Watership Downs Nursery.

The staff are amazing, very supportive and will make that connection with all families, even been there for families when they have needed that support with something that has happened outside the nursery, I cannot thank the staff and owner so much for being there for me and my 2 boys.

My daughter has been coming here for a year now and absolutely loves it! I don’t think she has ever had a day where she’s not been happy going to nursery, that is all due to the loveliness of staff who provide the best for our children. Can’t wait to return in September.

Amazing nursery and staff. My son settled really well and the staff made me feel settled and very comfortable. My son has learnt many new things with them and he will continue too. Can not fault them at all. And they have home-cooked meals on site every day.

Great nursery and great staff. Flexible and helpful and comfort my daughter if she is not feeling well etc. Always doing different things with the little ones. My daughter has really settled nicely there. Highly recommend.

The staff are so accommodating here and really do take the time to listen, be flexible and support your child's needs. I would really recommend this nursery. The communication is excellent from the staff via email and phone.

I had two children attend Watership Downs Nursery, and I feel that choosing this nursery was the best thing I could do for them to best prepare for school. My first child had a difficult nursery experience and the manager pulled me into her office suggesting I take him to check his hearing and eyesight. From those appointments, I found out that my child actually suffers both hearing and sight impairment. She helped him through everything and also supported my partner and I through it all, even after he left the nursery I could ask her questions and she’d be happy to help. The staff worked closely with him and eventually he loved the nursery! My second child doesn’t suffer any disabilities at all, and from the moment she started this nursery, she absolutely thrived. I could see what she was learning and doing every day through the social media group, and I felt like she had a very fulfilling experience, writing her own name, exploring things independently etc. Brilliant all round!

My daughter has attended Watership Downs Nursery for 2 years. She is now starting school. They have been nothing but wonderful. All staff are caring and considerate. Management are excellent and are always there to support and listen. My daughter has had a wonderful time at Watership Downs Nursery. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. I feel there is a great interest in all the kids which attend and it is more than just a job to the staff. My children are well looked after and have built great relationships with the staff having only attended for a few months so far. The manager runs the nursery with a very much kids come first approach. My children have never dreaded drop off and I always feel happy to leave them at the setting. An all round excellent place for your kids to develop.

My Grandaughter has been attending Watership Downs Nursery since she was 2 years old and she is now preparing to transition to school. In the time she has been here the nursery has really helped with supporting us with any behaviour concerns, going above and beyond to put in place plans to encourage good behaviour both in the nursery and at home. The leadership is excellent and you get such a warm welcome from all the staff. I wouldn't consider another nursery, my Grandaughter is always happy to arrive and never wants to leave at the end of the day.

My grandson goes here, he really enjoys being at the nursery plus he likes to go when it's adult and child on a Friday afternoon. They teach the children through play which all the children love. All the staff are friendly and very helpful.

My daughter currently goes to Watership Downs. I have been so, so impressed with every aspect of the nursery, there are not enough words to express how grateful I am for all of the time and hard work everyone has put in with my daughter. The transformation in her since attending nursery has been amazing. The staff who work here are fantastic, everyone has been so supportive. They really do go above and beyond to help.

All three of my children have gone to this playschool. My youngest is currently going and I couldn’t recommend anywhere else. The staff are lovely, all of my children have come out of playschool happy and I have even had tantrums from them when it isn’t their day to go in.

This nursery is amazing my youngest currently attends and really enjoys his time there, my eldest also attended and the manager was so quick to pick up on his additional needs and make sure help was in place. Definitely recommend.
