Pollyanna Pre-School

My daughter started at Pollyanna in January 2021 and she has loved every minute! The staff are so friendly and kind and my daughter always comes home from preschool very happy and content. It's a lovely little preschool that takes care of each and every child.

My daughter will be leaving in July to go to 'big school' but my youngest daughter will be starting in November and I'm looking forward to her having the same wonderful experience.

Pollyanna Preschool staff have been so very friendly and welcoming. My daughters have become so much more confident since they started in January 2019. I felt it was extremely important that my daughters be treated as individuals being twins and the staff have been brilliant at working with them as individuals and praising their different strengths. They have encouraged them to build on other areas including confidence and independence especially for one of them. I know my girls will be very sad when their time at Pollyanna comes to an end after their summer term but I know I’ll be confident that they’ll be ready and well prepared for reception.

My daughter left Pollyanna in July to start reception and we were all very sad to say goodbye to the preschool. When she started she initially had trouble separating from me, but her key worker was fantastic at looking out for her in the mornings and did her best to keep her happy and occupy her when I said goodbye. She regularly used the online journal to show me photos of my daughter after I’d left to reassure me that she was happy and enjoying the session. She would show me what they had been up to. I never felt worried about leaving my daughter as the staff are all so wonderful and caring. Once she settled she really grew in confidence and thrived in the environment they offer. We both made lots of lovely friends, many of whom have now moved onto school with her and others that will follow her on to school next year when they turn 4.

Pollyanna is a wonderful preschool and my daughter has settled there so well, she talks fondly of it and has come on leaps and bounds since joining in January. The staff are so helpful, well-skilled and very approachable regarding anything. I look forward to my second daughter starting there next year.

Great preschool, staff are fantastic. I feel completely at ease sending my child here. They have a range of indoor and outdoor activities as well as trips.

Pollyanna Pre-School is such a wonderful pre-school. The environment is safe, clean, warm and a joy to be in. What makes the pre-school so special is the staff who work there. They are very approachable and friendly and can’t do enough for the children whilst being professional and supportive. Everything they do is for the benefit of the children. They ask the children what they would like to play with the following week and factor it into what toys and equipment to get out, so they cater to each child’s interests. There is also a secure outside space for the children to play in when the weather is nice, which adds another dynamic to the pre-school. My little boy loves playing outside so he’s always happy when he can use this area. The location of the Pre-school is very accessible with plenty of parking which is a massive bonus. There is also a lovely little park to take your child to after collection.

I can not recommend Pollyanna Pre-school enough. Both of my children have attended, with my youngest still there. They have always made my children feel happy, secure and confident, whilst enabling them to develop the skill set needed for the jump to reception. Both of my children have food allergies and they have always been amazing with this issue and very inclusive when doing any baking etc. There is a really great team here, who genuinely go above and beyond for the children, which in turn gives the pre-school such a lovely feel.

Pollyanna is a fantastic preschool, with staff that go above and beyond to help the children and parents. My son settled very quickly, the staff understand his likes and interests and plan activities around them. The preschool has a lovely outdoor area which has access to the park and playing field which is brilliant. The recent sports day was a lovely way for parents and family members to get involved. I would highly recommend Pollyanna.

Fantastic local pre-school. My daughters confidence has truly grown. She loves being outdoors, and she has ample opportunity to do this. The staff are really friendly and always super approachable.
