Over the Moon Day Nursery

I love how comfortable my child feels at handover as before she started she was becoming attached. I love how she has fit right in and how much I feel like she has progressed since starting. I feel so comfortable knowing she attends nursery as she likes their meals and never has had an issue with going in so far.

Over the Moon Day Nursery has been brilliant for our daughter. They have looked after her and nurtured her into a confident and loving child. As a result, we now have our son going there. He took just over a week to settle, but once he did, he seemed very comfortable and had been progressing very well. I am very happy to have my child at the nursery and would highly recommend it.

Over The Moon is a lovely little nursery that really has a homely feel to it. We do not live near to any family and could not imagine a more suitable place to leave our children when we are at work. Our daughter struggled with separation anxiety and the staff really took the time to get to know her and nurture her to feel comfortable enough to be herself and settle in nicely. This year she graduated up to reception at school and was more than ready for that transition all thanks to the amazing staff at Over The Moon who are friendly, professional and very enthusiastic in the morning and at pick-up time. We now have a son who also started at the nursery three months ago and is more than at home there. He has learnt so many words and enjoys singing and dancing with his key worker and the other carers. It is so lovely to hear the staff telling me things that he says and does that we recognise as the same at home, it shows that he is truly happy at nursery.

Over the Moon Day Nursery has been a true blessing for our family. We joined a few months ago with my newborn and two other children and it has been the best decision. The warm, family-like atmosphere immediately made us feel welcome. The mixed-age group setting is fantastic; my daughter loves giving cuddles to the little ones each morning. The chef prepares fresh, healthy food daily and my kids always ask for seconds because they love it. The staff are incredible, organising fun and interactive activities. My 3-year-old has gained so much confidence and improved her speaking skills. I am truly grateful for the team's dedication. The owners visit regularly, ensuring the highest standards are maintained. I highly recommend Over the Moon Nursery. It's a home away from home for any child. Thank you to the entire team for everything you do.

It’s lovely to see the bond he has made with staff, often saying goodbye with a hug or a high five.

Communication is greatly improved and we are happy with the nursery.

Firstly I’d like to say that the staff in the nursery were absolutely amazing with my children, from when they started to when we made the difficult decision to leave. However, the owner is not. She belittled me, made me feel like a bad mum when she questioned my parenting choices, made nasty comments in front of others about our parenting style, and was generally very rude towards us. She is not flexible in any way with anything and actually screamed at me down the phone when I asked questions. We never wanted to remove our children but honestly felt we had no choice. The lack of communication about change in staffing is awful. There was a period where the staff turnover was horrendous. I went to pick up my daughter one day and the lady holding her didn’t even know I was her mum. Was really quite sad at how we were treated.

The nursery is smaller, and the staff have formed a relationship with our family easily and quickly.

Both my children have attended this nursery and the focus on preschool learning is not as good as it was for my first child. Staff turnover also seems to be an issue.

An amazing nursery with faultless staff.

I have been using this nursery for the past 5 years, my son and daughter both started here from very early ages. My son started in 2011 and my daughter started in 2012 - leaving my babies to go back to work was a very scary experience but I felt at ease leaving them with them in the care of a professional and caring team.

It is a small nursery and has a family feel where is child is treated and nurtured individually. I love that the children are taught manners and how to be independent from a young age. Also I love the variety of fresh home made meals.

I cannot recommend Over The Moon and all the staff enough.
