Our son and daughter joined The Children's Room in December 2024 and February 2025 respectively and they have had a truly wonderful experience there. The staff have a extraordinary level of enthusiasm and the care and attention that both our children have enjoyed has been truly heart-warming. It has been a safe, loving and exciting environment for them both to develop in and we cannot thank the staff enough for their encouragement. The activities and opportunities, the engagement with the community, the facilities - all faultless. Their interaction with us as parents has also helped us develop and stimulated our imaginations - something which we will always be grateful for. They really have set the bar for what early years care and development can and should be.

My son has been in The Children's Room since he was 10 months old and is now 3.5 and having been in every room at The Children's Room I never have doubted my choice of nursery for him. Nursery settings are all very similar as schools but what makes a difference at the Children's Room is the staff, that is what truly makes that nursery so exceptional. It is full of love, kindness and understanding. They have taught my son so much more than I could have ever have hoped for at a nursery and watching him grow from strength to strength. The staff are worth their weight in gold and there aren't enough thank yous for them. It's made returning to work full-time so much easier knowing he is happy and safe always. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Our little one has attended The Children's Room for the last three and a half years and I would highly recommend it. He is incredibly happy there and has formed lovely friendships with the other children and staff. The children do a wide range of activities and are outdoors a lot, including exploring the local area or being outside in the nursery gardens. The nursery keeps you well updated with your child's progress and they also organise a number of family events throughout the year which are lovely to make you feel more involved in their life at nursery.

I could not recommend this nursery more highly and my son will be incredibly sad to leave.

We have two children who have been attending The Children's Room for nearly 2 years. They both love it, and have each formed strong bonds with members of staff. We are super impressed at the breadth of activities they get to participate in - our eldest particularly loves the walks to the local market, shops, and playground. Their learning and creativity is fostered, as well as good behaviour, social skills and self-care. The staff are well aware of the learning focus for each child, and keep us up to date on progress regularly (either through parent's evenings or just catch up at end of day pick up). I'd highly recommend the nursery, and are really pleased we picked it.

My son has been attending The Children’s Room since September 2023 and he has settled in really well. My son has additional care needs and the nursery, in particular his Key Worker, have been a fantastic support both to my son and to us as a family. His Key Worker has worked closely with us to ensure his needs are being met and that the nursery is providing everything it reasonably can to ensure my son thrives. The regular updates via the app are brilliant and my son has developed a lot since he started attending. The variety of activities with an educational foundation is brilliant and well thought out. It is also great to see the impact the nursery has in the local community, with activities set to encourage thinking about the wider community we live in.

The Children's Room is a wonderful nursery that provides a warm and welcoming home from home atmosphere. Our little boy has been attending since he was 9 months old and we joined last November! Compared to other local nurseries it is hands down the best. Our little boy enjoys a good mix of fun and learning and particularly benefits from the outside time and space. He is very attached to staff there which proves the care and attention the staff provide. We love The Children's Room Day Nursery!

Our daughter has been attending the nursery for 9 months and she is very happy there. She has lots fun, is stimulated and supported by the carers in her development. There is a lot of variety in her day and she eats very well. The carers are lovely and attentive. Our daughter has bonded really well with several of the staff. We enjoy receiving regular updates and pictures through the app, we get a chance to speak with the carers at the end of the day and staff have always been responsive to our questions or requests.

Amazing staff team who have great bonds with the children. There is a brilliant menu for meal times and great activities including yoga, French and debutots throughout the week. My two have loved their time here.

I couldn’t be happier with the care that my child has received from The Children’s Room Day Nursery, since joining in February. He’s built fantastic relationships with the other children in his room, as well as with all staff members. I can’t speak highly enough of his key worker- she provides him with the care and love a working parent could only hope someone would give their child and he’s always so excited to see her and the other team members, when I drop him off in the mornings. His confidence has come on in leaps and bounds and the nursery are helping to shape him into the most kind and generous little boy. To say he’s thriving in this environment would be an understatement. We get updates and photos of what he’s been up to that day and if the team have any concerns, they always call us. My only small grumble is that the earliest drop off you can organise is 7:50am but that’s the only negative I can think of and is insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Both our children have attended The Children's Room Day Nursery over the last 6 years, our youngest has just left and started school. The care and attention that all the staff show the children is unbelievable. They are so patient, calm, friendly and professional and they have helped both of our children to thrive. Both have loved going to nursery, their days were full of fun, laughter and cuddles. The nursery helped them grow into very confident, independent young people throughout their time there. We were always kept up to date by the staff and received regular newsletters and photos and the homecooked food was always really varied and nutritious. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

I cannot praise The Children's Room Day Nursery enough! I was nervous to send my children to nursery at first but can honestly say sending them here has been the best decision I've ever made. The care and attention they are given has been unbelievable and the staff are absolutely incredible in every way. All the children at the nursery are happy and well cared for and receive genuine love and affection from the staff with lots of cuddles and laughter! Everyone knows everyone and we are always greeted with a smile. We receive regular updates and photos throughout the day, and the staff will always call us if needed so I know the kids are safe and well cared for. The activities on offer are outstanding - lots of outdoor play, toys, sports, crafts, baking, reading, and so much learning. My kids are happy here and have so many friends, and my daughter is leaving next week completely ready to go to school - what more could we ask for?

We are really happy with the nursery. Our child loved attending. The staff ensured strong relationships were created with my child and that they always felt safe. He really enjoyed being outside in the garden at the bottom. This was a great addition to the facilities.

We are extremely happy with The Children's Room Day Nursery. For the last three years, my son has received the best care ever. They do many activities, and communication is excellent. The staff are very kind, patient, loving, always happy, and very well trained to deal with any situation. The food is super healthy and delicious. Also, they always listen to parents' feedback, and they act asap to improve. I highly recommend The Children's Room with all my heart.

We continue to be so pleased with our choice to send our little girl to The Children's Room. She has been going since she was around 8 months and is now 15 months. The nursery has recently changed hands and only positive changes have been made since. Retention of all the lovely staff and the warm cosy feel it always had, along with the introduction of modernised rooms, an outdoor classroom and more resources. We get regular updates with photos and videos and my little one is constantly happy when I drop her off and when she is collected. So far, not one tear in those 7 months. She has come on leaps and bounds in her development and we are constantly complimented on her vocabulary and confidence.

The staff at the Children's Room could not have done more to make my child's experience a fantastic one. At every stage, he was nurtured, loved and made to feel special. The staff kept us updated with his progress and helped with some big changes in his life. Our child loved being at the nursery and was sad to leave when he started school. I could not recommend the nursery enough, a wonderful place.

I cannot rate the Children's Room highly enough. Both of my children (currently 4 1/2 and 2 1/2) have been fortunate enough to attend since they were one. They have both thrived at this nursery and often ask to go on days off! The staff are so friendly, welcoming and nurturing and both children have developed strong attachments to a number of the staff. The manager is always accommodating in allowing the children to attend on ad hoc days when I've found myself in need of care. They have put excellent measures in place surrounding the pandemic and to date, there have been no suspected cases involving children or staff - I don't know of any other child care setting where classes haven't had to isolate at some point! My eldest is about to 'graduate' and she couldn't have been better prepared for school. Thank you to everyone who helps run this fantastic nursery.

Great nursery and staff. My son has been in the Children's room since he was just over one year old and he is now three. He loves being in nursery and all of the staff are amazing and very attentive. I would def recommend. Also, management throughout the pandemic has been fantastic.

My little girl has been attending the nursery since she was 9 months old, she’s now 3 and loves going. She loves all the staff and talks about them all the time. It’s a fantastic nursery and would highly recommend to anyone.
