This is our second child attending this lovely setting, we couldn't be more satisfied with the staff and the care our daughters have received. The setting is small but the activities and toys on offer are perfect and really educational/nurturing. The members of staff really care for the children and continuously provide a caring fun environment. They love the kids and our girls certainly love them too!
We have been at Edith Rose for almost two years now and my daughter couldn't be happier. My daughter started in Caterpillars and is now in cocoons. There are lots of great things to say about Edith Rose, but the absolute stand out for us are the staff. They are engaged, wholly focussed on the children and from the first day we have been happy leaving her, knowing she will be cared for. She is a very happy, independent and confident toddler which is, in a large part, due to the excellent care and teaching she receives at the nursery.
My daughter has been at this nursery for five months now, and I can really notice the positive impact it is having. She struggles a little with separation anxiety, so drop-offs can be a little tearful, but the staff go above and beyond to make sure she is happy and comfortable, and I will often get a picture sent through the portal to show she is enjoying her day there and all the things she has been up to. The staff run a great variety of activities and even take the children for walks around the area. The nursery is quite small and has a real home-from-home feel. I would definitely recommend it.
Both my boys have started at the nursery this year. It is such a warm and friendly environment and both have settled in very quickly and enjoy their time there. I love the regular updates and seeing what they get up to through the parent portal. Would definitely recommend.
Both our daughters love Edith Rose Nurseries Ascot. We particularly like the small group sizes and the great staff! We've seen huge progress in both the girl's development, thanks in no small part to Edith Rose.
The food here seems really good, I love that my child eats most meals (and often seconds) despite being rather picky at home.
I also really like the technology they’ve integrated into recording progress and communicating with parents.
Staff are very friendly, approachable and there’s just good common sense applied.
Highly recommend Edith Rose Ascot!
We are extremely pleased with Edith Rose, Ascot and would recommend it to anyone. My son started there at just over a year old and settled very quickly. It’s a lovely, friendly, small nursery where all the staff know the children really well and cater to their individual needs and personalities. All the staff are kind and caring; my son talks so fondly about them at home. I drop him off in the morning knowing he will be well cared for and will have fun. He is a happy, confident and kind little boy, which I put down in part to the time he spends at Edith Rose.
They encourage outdoor activity & learning & arrange activities outside of the nursery such as walks to the park.
They also promote play with natural materials to encourage creativity & learning.
For extra reassurance, they use Nursery Cam so parents can check in on their children whilst they are at nursery.
They use Kinderly to provide updates and record milestone developments for parents to access at any time.
They provide a clear fee structure that is massively cheaper in comparison to others especially with how they allocate the free funded hours.
We have been using Edith Rose Nursery in Ascot for a number of years now. Our children have had such a great experience and have come on leaps and bounds. The staff are excellent and friendly - the type of activities they do are engaging with the kids and more importantly, you can trust them. Staff members are so helpful and friendly and to find such a well-connected nursery that instil great values in children will stand them in good stead for the future and shape their character to be good.
He has made some lovely friends in the Caterpillar room and the staff really encourage him to explore and satisfy his inquisitive nature. He really is thriving in this stimulating environment.
He moved onto Cocoon room just before age 2 when he was walking well and able to interact more with the bigger children. Play was again, varied and enjoyable - outdoor/indoor play, cooking, singing, french lessons and more.
He then moved onto Butterflies age 3 and is now at 4.5 ready for his time at school. He knows all his phonics, counts to 100, uses the toilet independently, has lovely manners. All things I thank Edith Rose for helping him to learn.
The nursery is smaller than many others but this has been wonderful for my son. He has a really close group of friends that he thinks the world of. He loves the staff and has always been excited to go to nursery. I would highly recommend this nursery especially to anyone looking for a nursery able to offer a more personal touch.
We chose this nursery as it was smaller than others in the area which was better suited to our daughter’s quiet nature, but her confidence has increased throughout her time there.
Many of the staff have been working there for a long time and are incredibly caring and nurturing.
There are lots of different opportunities for structured play and outdoor fun.
Our daughter loves going and it’s a struggle to get her to leave at the end of the day. Highly recommended.
