Pangbourne Day Nursery is a welcoming, community-focused nursery in the heart of Pangbourne, providing high-quality care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. As a small, family-oriented setting, the nursery places great importance on building strong relationships with children and their families, creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, secure, and supported.
Practitioners take the time to get to know each child as an individual, tailoring experiences to their interests, strengths, and developmental needs. This personalised approach helps children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, the nursery offers a rich curriculum centred on play, exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences. Meaningful interactions and quality time with children support their communication, physical development, problem-solving skills, and social confidence.
Healthy eating is an important part of nursery life, with freshly prepared meals made using quality, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The nursery caters for a range of dietary requirements and supports children through every stage of the weaning journey.
Working in close partnership with parents and carers, the team ensures a consistent and supportive approach to each child's care and development. With over 30 years of experience in early years education, Pangbourne Day Nursery continues to provide a caring environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 49 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 49 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 23.3 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.
