The Old School Day Nursery

My little boy joined here in Jan post going to the feeder nursery, and i have to same the whole setup is just great! We were recommended them by a friend and compared to other nurseries the value for money is great, no supplying your own nappies or sun cream etc... the food is GREAT and the nursery works are all really excellent as an adult i enjoy talking to them and my little boy feels so safe with them all! I really love the fact that there is a playground on the doorstep so the all kids get to spend great time outside together!

My little boy has attended the old school for the last year and a half. He is super happy and has excelled in his development. The staff are fantastic with him and they are so caring towards him. My little boy struggled with eating and would often refuse food and the setting have been very accommodating and accepting of his needs and now he eats everything that the nursery provides.

My son transitioned to The Old Chocl during the November lockdown. He wasn't able to settle, however, we were able to meet the team ahead of time with our son in the nursery garden, which offered us reassurance and meant we could mee the key worker and put a face to the name. We were also given a welcome pack with photos of all the other staff. This really helped us during what could have been a difficult and stressful transition.

My son is in her pre-school year. We had looked at various options for this year, nursery, pre-school, childminder... we finally settled on The Old School as they concentrate on the whole child. It is important for them to build your child confidence and social skills as well as building their skills of writing and letter recognition. Focusing on doing this naturally as opposed to working from workbooks and sheets. I have every confidence that my son will go to school happy, confident and ready.

My child has been attending The Old School for two years. I just love how happy my daughter is each evening when she comes home and tells me all the things she has been doing that day. From cooking, art and sensory play to a woodland walk, spots and yoga and den building each day are full of activity and fun. My daughter really enjoys the projects that the nursery runs and has come home with the knowledge that even my husband and I have had to look up - inhabitants if different polar regions, animals native to various parts of the world, cultural festivals from around the globe etc. The learning is interesting, exciting and ever-varied.

They really are great. I also love the app which they update daily with photos, food log and a description of the day.
