Oak Tree Kindergarten Ltd (Ashcroft Road)

All three of my children have attended Oak Tree so we've been a part of the Oak Tree family for the last 7 years. The nursery and staff are just absolutely fantastic! The children adore the staff in every room as they grow and the staff love the children like their own. All my children have been supported in their development and reaching milestones. Their learning is amazing to see and we love seeing the updates and pictures on what the children have been up to and what subject they have been learning. The setting is great and the outside space is incredible. My little one absolutely loves the food and the chef there is fantastic. We love that they have hot meals in the day and a variety of meals etc. Two of my children have allergies, one being coeliac disease which is difficult and expensive. I can't praise the nursery enough. They catered to her needs fully and she was always included. We absolutely love this nursery and can't praise them enough!

Both of my daughters have gone to Oak Tree and I cannot recommend it enough - lovely, approachable staff and a nice setting. The outside space seems bigger than the other nurseries we looked around and has lots of equipment in. They take the children on little outings too e.g. to the park, community garden or shops. Both of my children have been very happy here!

I cannot recommend this nursery and the staff enough. They are all amazing!

I visited Oak Tree after I was recommended it by an old student who had attended c. 30 years ago and had fond memories of her time there. I loved that it was a smaller environment with only 9 babies in the baby room at one time. The staff are all so friendly and you can tell that they have a passion for what they are doing. My little girl started in May 2024 I am still impressed that every member of staff seems to know who she is and after a rocky settling-in period and many tears (which she was well supported through) she now runs into nursery in the morning. It's a nerve-wracking decision to leave your child with someone else but I'm confident that she is well cared for and I am 100% happy with my choice!

My little boy has come on in leaps and bounds since attending this lovely nursery! (After a not so great start at another). He is absolutely gutted to be leaving! The manager could not do any more for the children and parents - she's always around to speak to, and can always be found chatting away to the children too. She is also very knowledgeable about what the children have been up to daily which is so reassuring. Weekly updates on the app for parents, but you can always speak to the ladies at pick-up, they'll always let you know about how the day has been! All the ladies are friendly and genuinely care about the children, you can see this from the hugs that they get in the mornings from the children. The food is great too, homecooked, healthy, lovely meals! My little one eats things that he would never eat at home when he's there - that reminds me, I must steal some recipes from the chef before he leaves - haha! Fabulous experience here, thank you so much!

We will always be especially grateful for the help and support they provided us as a family while our son was being diagnosed with SEND. Definitely recommend.

Oak Tree Kindergarten (Ashcroft Road) are wonderful. If you are in any doubt about where to send your little ones, don't hesitate to send them here. Both of my children have been at the nursery since they were 12 months old, and stayed until they started reception. My second child is currently in his last weeks at the nursery and, as a family, we will be sad to say goodbye. The staff know the children so well, they take safety seriously and truly care about the children they are looking after. They have helped us to raise our children, from exposing them to all kinds of wonderful food, helping with potty training, behavioural 'phases' and preparing them for big school. 5 stars all round.

I'm happy with Oak Tree Kindergarten because it offers my daughter a very friendly and safe environment to learn and grow. The kids go out to play in the garden three times a day which is really great. She learns lots of songs, letters and she has developed lovely friendships with both other children and teachers. I like that I can call and the team is always friendly and helpful.
