Little Tree Montessori Nursery

We've had such a positive experience with Little Tree that we'll definitely be sending our second daughter there when she turns two. We couldn't recommend Little Tree more highly!

Because the group is smaller than some other nurseries, children are able to create meaningful bonds with each other. My daughter is still in touch with her Little Tree friends today, months after leaving.

I would highly recommend Little Tree to anyone looking for a nursery for their child.

Little Tree is a wonderful nursery with an incredibly nurturing and caring environment. The management and staff are outstanding with a patient, supportive and personal approach to individual development, my child has grown hugely in confidence and independence. The classrooms are clean, bright, and filled with purposeful learning tools. My child couldn't be happier there.

Our son has been attending Little Tree Nursery for the last 18 months and has been thriving. The environment is incredibly calm, happy and nurturing, our son has learnt so much during his time there and is genuinely excited to go. Cathy and her amazing staff take such care in understanding each child and what they need as individuals whilst encouraging growth and learning. Little Tree has a true family feel (there is nothing corporate about the place) and the quality of the care and education reflects in the behaviour of the children who attend. They are a wonderful little cohort - gentle, thoughtful and happy. Little Tree is a rare gem and we feel really fortunate that a small setting like this still exists in Crouch End.

We started our time at little tree in September 2023. Since then my two boys consecutively attend. The community at little tree from the staff to the parents is the best I have encountered. My children were looked after with great care, given wonderful experiences and the staff went above and beyond to ensure they were set up for transitioning to school. I would highly recommend this nursery as it is a home away from home for the children who attend.

Little Tree Montessori is a wonderful little nursery where our daughter (3) is truly thriving. I'm impressed with the overall atmosphere, the attention to detail, the care with which they approach every child and I feel it is head and shoulders above other nurseries in the area (our other experience is another nursery for my older daughter). My daughter comes home happy every day and I couldn't be more pleased with her progress. The staff are very kind and nurturing and there isn't high turnover which is a testament to how the owner Cathy is running the place. I also feel much more comfortable knowing that Cathy is there every day making sure everything runs smoothly. They've also been able to accommodate my daughter who still likes to nap during the day even though other kids are not napping and have a safe space for her to sleep with someone in the same room when she needs to during the day. Overall I could not recommend the nursery more.

I have 3 children who all went through Little Tree and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The Montessori approach is fantastic. The children all adored being there and were so well cared for - it was like they were going to a second family for the day. Having also tried a different 'chain' nursery, the difference was remarkable - Little Tree was better in every way. The smaller groups, the independence they learn, the loving teachers, the calm environment - it's a very special place. We moved from London recently and were so sad that my youngest had to say goodbye to Little Tree.

Sophie misses Little Tree dearly and asks to go back. We are forever grateful to Cathy and her team for giving Sophie such an extraordinary start in life.

I sent all four of my children to Little Tree. They provide such a nurturing and supportive environment for all their different personalities to shine. Over the combined ten years or so my children attended the staff turnover was remarkably low and the staff seem to genuinely love working there. I was confident my child was being well looked after and learning at their speed. They also have a lovely drama enrichment class.

I can't recommend Little Tree Nursery highly enough. My daughter spent three wonderful years there, and my son, now two and a half, has been there since April last year. In August 2024 I lost my mother, and the year that followed - grieving, moving house and juggling work with a baby and a young child - was one of the hardest of my life. Through it all, the team at Little Tree was a constant source of warmth and stability. They nurtured my daughter's confidence and curiosity, prepared her beautifully for school, and have welcomed my son with the same care - he is happy, settled and thriving. They supported me too, with kindness and understanding when I needed it most. Knowing my children were safe, loved and happy every day meant the world. I am so grateful to the whole team and would recommend them wholeheartedly to any family.

Little Tree is a lovely community, and we feel very lucky to be part of it. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
