ELY (Early Learning Years) Nursery

I am overjoyed with the early learning year's nursery! My son and daughter have been going to ELY nursery for the past years , and we are thrilled with the experience. The staff is extraordinarily kind, attentive, and really interested in each child's development. They foster a friendly and caring environment in which children feel loved and safe.

Communication with parents is outstanding. We receive regular updates and photo's regarding my son's and daughter's progress and everyday activities. The nursery also prioritises safety and hygiene, which provides us parents with peace of mind, particularly during these times. Thank you so much, Mya and Sharina, for always being there for us parents.

My daughter started at ELY in April and we have been really pleased with her experience. The families that use the nursery are lovely and it has a real community feeling. The staff are very knowledgeable, caring, supportive and dedicated. The nursery has also been really supportive of our families changing child care requirements and have accommodated these where possible. Her language and social skills have come along really well since being part of the nursery and she has been exposed to lots of engaging learning opportunities. Communication with parents is great and the nursery put on lots of events to include families which we really appreciate. Thanks ELY!

Choosing ELY has been one of the best decisions we have made for our children.

Ely is a lovely nursery that cared so well for my little one for about 2 years. The staff are incredibly dedicated and organise the most amazing engaging developmental activities and seem to make a lovely connections with the kids. Management and staff are super friendly and flexible and the setting is a cosy homely feel. The only reason for not a full 5 stars is that although there is a good outdoor space, for my son I think he would have liked a bigger space to run about, also there seemed to be new staff faces popping up a lot which I guess is normal for such settings (and didn't seem to bother my son). When I picked him up he was usually happy and had had a good day. Something I'm really pleased about too is the change of menu to more healthy items and not allowing sweets and cakes for birthdays. Oh and also it's vegetarian! Which suits us down to the ground. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you team Ely!

Our daughter attended ELY from October 2024 to December 2025, starting in the Green Room and progressing to pre-school. From the first visit, the team made her feel completely at home. We were initially apprehensive about switching nurseries, but the transition was seamless-within a day she had bonded with the staff, who nurtured her creativity and confidence.

Her move to pre-school in May 2025 was just as smooth. The team supported her development in writing, reading and numeracy while continuing to build her confidence.

ELY truly felt like a home away from home, with warm daily welcomes, nutritious meals, varied activities and outstanding care. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos throughout the day.

We had a wonderful experience with this nursery. From the very beginning the staff were incredibly supportive; both during onboarding and throughout our time there. They were so caring with my child and with me, which made a huge difference during the stressful period of finding a nursery and returning to work.

They answered every one of my (many many) questions and always made us feel reassured and welcomed. My child really came into his own while attending, and it was lovely to see how much confidence and independence he gained.

I am so grateful for the kindness and care shown to our family.

Due to moving house we have had to leave ELY nursery, and we are very sad to be doing so. Our daughter has received such great care and has grown so much in the time she spent here. We moved to ELY after a not so great experience from a nearby 'chain' nursery and wish we had done it sooner.

Staff are always helpful and informative at drop off/pick up and we particularly liked that drop off was all done on the ground floor level, allowing for quick and hassle free drop offs in the morning before work. The little acts of care throughout the days there make a big difference to the lives of the parents and kids alike.

I fully appreciate and very thankful to all the staff at ELY. They are amazing, professional and supportive to us. I will recommend ELY without a doubt. My little one has shown great changes socially since joining ELY and that is with the help of the staff from the baby room until she got older. Thank you ELY and best wishes.

My daughter is attending ely nursery and i couldn't be happier as she is very happy with the activities that she is getting in there. The staff is very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Ely nursery, the staff and all so friendly and caring towards the children. They have various activities throughout the day for the children and go about and beyond to help them with their development. They upload so many photos daily of what they get up to, which is so lovely to see! Thank you all for everything!

We have been extremely happy with the Ely nursery. Our daughter was immediately integrated into her room and had no trouble settling in. The communication from the staff and via the app is outstanding and the daily updates are great. I have truly appreciated Ely's flexibility with start and finish dates and also the teacher discount has been great for our circumstances so this is also worth asking about. The fees are also reasonable compared to other nurseries. I recommend this nursery without hesitation. Others may have more modern facilities but don't choose a nursery based on this- it is all about the staff and the activities are also great!

This nursery is fantastic - really feels like a home away from home. The staff are absolutely brilliant and my son had a wonderful time there in the Red Room. I saw a big difference in his development when he joined. We are so sad to be leaving after only a year but we are moving neighbourhoods- it's going to be hard to find another one we love as much. I love how vibrant it is and my son is so happy - he runs to the door in the morning when it's time to go. A huge thank you to all the staff for making my son feel so loved.

I and my wife could not be happier with the way our daughter was treated at ELY. She had the most wonderful send-off with a graduation party at the end of the term. The staff are so welcoming, supportive and accommodating. They make our daughter feel loved and safe. Special mention to two key workers who my daughter absolutely adored. We will be sending our youngest to ELY very soon without any hesitation. ELY is a trustworthy nursery run by the most wonderful people. The food is also only vegetarian which is reassuring for us.

I have been immensely grateful for the care and support that my son has received during his time at this amazing nursery. We found a clean and welcoming environment, with a beautiful garden and friendly staff, adequate safeguarding and the food is quite good and healthy, plus they prepare children very well for the transition to primary school. My little one enjoyed his time there.
