Lovely teachers and engaging activities. Love the outdoor space, the sandpit and slide, the fact they do forest school, football, Tarka etc each week. My little one loves it and has grown in confidence tremendously since joining.
The nursery is spacious with modern clean classrooms and lots of outdoor space.
Staff are amazing. The facility is great considering inner London with enough outdoor space and fun activities outside within the grounds. It has been a joy for our child for the last 18 months and for her parents.
I hope you are well? Thank you so much for your kind review of the nursery. Your words are so lovely and I shall make sure the team has a chance to read your review. Best wishes, Ben
My biggest regret was to enrol my DD at Miss Daisy's Hyde Park. All the positive reviews fooled me into thinking it's one of the best nurseries in my local area but it turned out to be a regrettable experience. The main teacher was unfriendly and prejudiced towards my DD and I. My DD spent one term at the nursery and there was lack of care or interest towards her personal care or educational development. After my complaint still nothing changed and I left the nursery without notice due to lack of any contractual agreement. The nursery manager chased me threatening legal action without checking their docs that no contract was sent to me initially. They eventually backed off after I presented them with this information. A truly vile and despicable nursery team only interested in money and deserve the worst review.
Thank you for your review of Miss Daisy's Nursery School at Hyde Park. We are very sorry that you have decided to leave a negative review for us, especially given the lengths that we went to to ensure your daughter had a lovely time with us. I just wanted to note that you did in fact...
I highly recommend this place!
The kids are learning every day something new with a very organized schedule.
The teachers know all of the kids, spend time with them individually and are very good at describing both their strengths and areas for further development.
The team is also very approachable, responsive and accommodating.
The teaching programme is versatile and rich in content, with plenty to learn and to do.
We are pleased that the nursery now offers lunches, but this is one area where I feel some more comms could be considered for parents to know if their child has eaten/not eaten.
We also feel that the frequency and the length of school breaks are excessive.
Overall, the nursery is amazing and we can't be happier that we have it in our neighbourhood.
Huge compliments to a particular member of staff and her team.
It is worth driving 35 minutes every morning to drop off my son, 27 months old. He is in safe hands in a wonderfully designed atmosphere with a big forest school. Parents and teachers are so friendly. I am sure that this place is one of the best nurseries to start in London.
The nursery infrastructure is the best we've come across but what makes it are the teachers who are all simply as perfect as possibly can be.
It's not an easy job, the most important in the world for a parent and they're always full of energy and 100% professional whilst being engaging and happy.
Both my daughters have attended Miss Daisy’s Hyde Park nursery and we love it! The teachers are all excellent, caring, professional, and set high standards for the children both academically and for their personal development. It really feels like each child is given the utmost attention as an individual and as a family. The large outdoor space is very well maintained and offers lots of fun activities, which is definitely a big asset for the nursery. The headteacher is amazing, she knows every child and family personally, she is inspiring and very approachable and her big smile every morning is the best way for both children and parents to start the day! She works very closely with the teachers and the families to advise the best future school for each child and support them all the way. We highly recommend this nursery.
We love everything about this nursery. The outdoor play space is so nice and so important for the children. My son is the happiest there. The teachers are so nice and caring, the key worker is amazing and she is doing such a great job with the nursery. We love the program, and the way they teach but also let the children explore and learn. It’s a beautiful environment that motivates the children.
I get daily updates from the teachers about her progress. The facilities and outdoor space are amazing. And we are met at the gates by the headmistress for drop off and pick up every day.
Truly excellent in all respects and it’s a testament to the headmistress.
