Little Sparklers Pre-School

My eldest son started Little Sparklers in February 2019 and I can honestly say he has thrived at this preschool. The staff have created such a welcoming, safe and engaging setting that my son can not wait to get out the house on a morning to go. They go above and beyond in all they do, especially for special occasions, such as the Christmas Show (complete with Santa visit and dvd!), Halloween parties, learning how to speak Chinese on Chinese New Year, sports day in the summer and an annual trip theme park with staff, friends and family. They do arts and crafts and baking regularly, and there is a big emphasis on the outdoors and children get the opportunity to play in the fantastic outdoor space, as well as the larger school grounds, whatever the weather! I really cannot recommend this setting enough!

My daughter was at this preschool for 2 years and the care and provision received was inadequate. I have contacted the nursery manager and as yet have not received her learning diary. I found the feedback we have received regarding our daughter has been negative and never constructive. I would not recommend this setting if your child has additional needs or SEN.

We would recommend Little Sparklers Pre-School if you want a preschool for your child. Our daughter has been going for over a year now and our youngest can't wait to start! The staff have been brilliant with our daughter who is very shy, going above and beyond to make her engage with other children and the activities.

They use a great secure online system so you can see photos and videos of what your child has been up to as well as having regular conversations throughout.

Our daughter is making great progress and looks forward to all the extra activities on top of her normal sessions that the staff put on such as the Halloween party, Christmas show, day trips and storytimes.

Little Sparklers is a wonderful Pre-school which has helped nurture my shy 4 year old over the past 2 years into a more confident happy child.

The children get so many opportunities here and learn so much through play, from the usual more academic topics such as shapes, colours, numbers etc, to learning about the world around them and different cultures and customs all presented in a fun way to engage the age group of the children (2-5 years).

Little Sparklers also goes above and beyond the standard requirements of a Pre-school with the addition of Story Evenings, Easter Hunts, Christmas and Leavers Shows and Annual Day Trips and every child has the chance to be included and made to feel unique and special.

I would not hesitate to fully recommend this Pre-school to anyone, my 4 year old has just finished as he is to start school in September, however my 2 year old daughter has just started and loves her sessions and can't wait to go. I will also be sending my baby daughter when she is old enough. I can't speak highly enough of Little Sparklers.
