Chrysalis Day Nursery provide high quality learning for children aged three months to five years old.
The team of qualified and enthusiastic staff are committed to providing the best possible childcare; many staff members have worked there for over 15 years, something the nursery is very proud of.

The team pride themselves on providing a home from home, family environment where each child feels valued, welcome and secure, and can form a strong bond with their key person. The team have amazing relationships with all Chrysalis parents and love the feedback they receive from them about the nursery and the lovely staff. To ensure effective communication between parents/carers and the nursery at all times, there is an open door policy in place.

Children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, communicate and interact with one another. The team believe that children learn through play and the nursery’s extensive curriculum enables children to reach their full potential. They offer a huge range of different activities, to promote all areas of learning, they always put the children first in everything they do and pride themselves on being the best.

Our little boy absolutely loves attending nursery he moved up a class in January and was really nervous everyone has been great with him and as a parent watching his confidence grow has been really reassuring. His communication and development has really improved and he doing something new every week.

Both of my children have had the pleasure of attending this wonderful nursery-my eldest previously attended, and my youngest currently does-and I couldn't recommend it more highly. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly caring, supportive, and dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and
nurturing environment for the children.


The team goes above and beyond to support each child's development, encouraging learning through play while also helping them grow in confidence and independence. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about every child.


The setting is always welcoming, well-organised, and full of engaging activities that keep the children excited about learning.


I'm so grateful to the whole team for making nursery such a positive experience for our boys!

Cannot speak highly enough of Chrysalis and all the wonderful staff there. Having a son in the baby room currently and a son who progressed right through to pre-school, we cannot fault our experience with either child.
The instant feeling of home and warmth at drop off really makes all the difference
and takes the stress away from the reality of going to work. Our sons have been very lucky to have such kind staff looking after them, and everybody at Chrysalis is a credit to you!
Would recommend to anybody over and over! Thank you so much!

Our child really looks forward to going to nursery and this can only be down to the amazing staff and the great care they take in looking after every child. We have a seen a big jump in his development since attending the nursery. We highly recommend, excellent staff and service.

My son started here in September 2024, his speech since starting has been amazing! The ladies have been amazing with helping to settle him in. He goes 3 days a week and loves it. It's a home from home and I don't feel any worry whilst he's at nursery. He will be staying here until he goes to school
in September 2027.

If I could give 10 stars I would, my son started chrysalis day nursery 2 and a half years ago and we've never looked back, all staff are extremely caring and loving to all children, they really care and listen to your child's wants and needs. My son is under the SENCO team , with a diagnosis of autism
and I cannot fault they are amazing at what they do and he has grown into such a character from the care the staff provides, the outdoor space is excellent and the facilities, the sensory room is great also!!. I have put my daughter in chrysalis now and she loves it just as much! There is truly an amazing feel to this nursery and I love seeing all the children so happy at pick up, that's when you can tell the nursery is great. Thank you chrysalis!!

My son started chrysalis after a bad experience at a previous nursery. The ladies go above and beyond to ensure that your child is having the same care that you would give at home. The updates via the app are great to keep up the know of how your child has done throughout the day. The nursery itself
is very looked after and clean and there is lots of brilliant outdoor space for the children to learn different skills. Nothing is ever too much problem. I can't wait to see how he progresses through the next few years!

A beautiful nursery with wonderfully supportive staff, who really take the time to get to know you and your child. They are a great font of knowledge for advice and tips.

An absolutely amazing nursery that I'd recommend to anyone! My son loves his time here, he always has so much fun and is thriving. The ladies at Chrysalis Day Nursery are friendly and approachable and always willing to help. They give great updates on your child's day at nursery and are a smiley face.
My child enjoys nursery and is beginning to say new words that he has learnt. The ladies have been very quick to resolve any issues/questions

What a lovely nursery! My daughter is 15 months old and has attended Chrysalis for the last 5 months in the baby room. She has bonded well with the lovely ladies in there and photos show her having lots of fun. The office ladies are always very friendly and accommodating and communication is second
to none! And my daughter thoroughly enjoys the yummy food cooked too! I would 100% recommend Chrysalis to anyone I speak to!

I couldn't praise this nursery enough. Everything they do for the kids is amazing. I always feel that they can't do enough, not only for myself as a parent but for my little girl. She's attended from around 6 months old and I couldn't be happier. The staff are amazing in every way and I couldn't ask
for more from them. Making the parent feel welcome as well as my child loving going daily, I couldn't ask for anything more. I've recommended the nursery to many colleagues and will continue doing so. Thank you to you all for everything you do.

Both of my children have been at Chrysalis from the age of 10 months old. They are now 3 and 15 months. From day 1 of starting at Chrysalis every member of the team at the nursery has been a friendly and welcoming face in the morning. When you walk into the reception, it feels homely and welcoming.
My son has had difficulty with separation after being home with him more during my maternity with my daughter. However, the team worked with us and put in strategies at the nursery to help and support him attending nursery and within a few weeks, we had no issues getting him into nursery. We are forever grateful of the help and support they gave our family. There is never a dull day at Chrysalis! When I receive the notifications about what my son and daughter have been up to, it is full of activities many of which lots include outside play. We are very thankful to everyone at the nursery for providing care and opportunities for our children to thrive and flourish. You are a great team!

My little girl has started at Chrysalis Day Nursery in the past 4 weeks and she's only just turned 9 months old so a first-time mum having to go back to work and leaving her was daunting. The nursery have made me feel so much better about leaving her and going back to work and they are all so friendly
and the atmosphere in the nursery is just lovely. Such a lovely setting for my little girl to settle into. My little girl seems to be loving it, there's very little tears now when dropping her off and I get pictures of her seeing what activities she's up to with her friends. We get weekly newsletters and monthly ones to let us know what's going on in the month and they're always up to something! Never seems to be a dull moment. I'm very impressed with the nursery so far and I'm sure it will continue to be as outstanding as it is.

My daughter is in the baby room at Chrysalis and has been for the last 3/4 months. I chose this nursery because my son started during covid and he thrived from being there and ended his time them feeling confident, happy and ready to start school. He has currently started back at the nursery during
the school holidays at holiday club which is amazing. He was so happy to be happy and see all the ladies. He has a fun-filled time there
My daughter is loved, well looked after and full of smiles when she is there.
The time and effort thay go into the children is amazing, all the staff are always positive, have great relationships with the children.
This for any parent is key, knowing your child is in safe hands and this nursery is brilliant for that.
They provide freshly cooked food which goes down a treat with my daughter and it provides all the correct nutrition for the children.
This nursery is outstanding, I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

Our boy has been attending Chrysalis since he was 4 months old. The staff are fantastic with him. My child's development since he started has been phenomenal. Even things like weaning at 6 months have been great as the ladies at the nursery were able to guide us and help with that.
I personally feel
at ease knowing he is going to Chrysalis each day, he is safe and well looked after and he loves being there.
