Been satisfactory so far. Could improve on communication and staff should be more proactive in taking care of the kids. The facilities seems good and the plus point is the fact that it's an Outdoor setting.

My son absolutely loves his time at this forest school! From the moment we arrived, the staff have been so welcoming and friendly - you can really tell how much they care about the children. They strike the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, creating an environment where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. The team are fantastic at keeping the children engaged all day with a wide range of outdoor activities. I'm always impressed by how much my son learns while having so much fun! They do an excellent job teaching the children boundaries and respect for nature, while still allowing them the freedom to play, imagine, and discover. It's such a joy to see how much confidence and independence my son has gained since joining. We feel very lucky to have found such a special place - I couldn't recommend this forest school highly enough!

My son joined Outdoor Owls in September and I cannot recommend a better setting for him in these early years of his life. He loves the outdoors in all weathers and the nursery is perfect, its setting provides a safe and interesting playground for the children. The staff are incredible and really care about the wellbeing and development of the children. He is learning real life skills in the outdoors which is building his confidence. It is really noticeable how much the staff care about the children here when compared to the previous nursery he attended. He is always so happy there and I am so glad we decided on enrolling him into Outdoor Owls!

This is our son's second experience of a forest nursery and we honestly think it's amazing! We came from a forest nursery in the city and in terms of setting, outdoor owls is certainly an upgrade! The space the kids have to run free and play is vast. The fun they have with outdoor activities, combined with the friends they make and freedom is second to none. Our son has always been so happy and comfortable being outside in all weathers and thoroughly enjoys being outside. It has such a positive impact on their happiness too and the weather doesn't bother our son one bit! The site is well set up, the staff are great and so invested in the children's well-being and development. I would highly recommend to anyone considering a move to a forest nursery. Our son hardly ever gets ill too. Huge bonus!

As a family who committed to raising our child with modern science backed parenting methods we really struggled to find childcare that was progressive. Most nurseries are just pokey rooms, that are multifunctional spaces and incredibly over stimulating. We have been at Outdoor Owls Guildford since it opened and our daughter has loved it. The staff are experienced, very dedicated, professional and caring. This kind of setting demands that the staff have a vested interest in forest school fundamentals and the outdoor philosophy. There are clear expectations of behaviour and the daily rules to keep them safe and the children self police. If you are worried about the weather, don't, all the kids love it, with the added bonus that if the weather is bad of a weekend you can stay inside and even watch tv and not feel guilty as they've been out all week! Plus all the food is wholesome vegetarian, nothing ultra processed. The only thing I'd like is for them to open an infant school next!

My son started at Outdoor Owls in September and has absolutely loved it! First of all the staff are incredible, so caring and provide a really stimulating environment for the children. The forest is really well equipped and he comes home with such amazing stories of what he has been up to. He is always excited to go to Outdoor Owls!

The experience as a parent of a child that goes to Outdoor Owls Guildford, and has done since the first day it opened, has been fantastic. Communication is timely, feedback is taken on board, and questions are answered quickly. They hold events so you can come and spend time in the forest and with other parents. The staff seem genuinely extremely happy to be working there. Putting your child in a forest school can honestly feel like a bold move. Outdoor Owls provide the necessary support on that journey. It's been wonderful to see the space turn from humble beginnings to constantly getting new and exciting things for the children to play with. If you are interested in sending your child to a forest school, you will be in safe hands here. Secondly, the experience of the child. My son absolutely loves Outdoor Owls Guildford. He gets to do activities he would never do in an indoor preschool, or at home. There is no doubt he is happier and healthier as a result of attending.
