View Full Details of Little Toes Day Nursery North MuskhamAs a first time mummy trusting people to care for your child is scary but honestly from day one to a year later I have never felt so assured at ease and happy dropping off my little one. My daughter has seen two stages from baby to toddler room and each room has been outstanding with care, learning and honestly love. My daughters fallen for each new staff member with weekly pictures and insight into her time at nursery and I honestly could not ask for more.
My little girl loves going to nursery, she reaches her arms out for the staff to take her whenever I drop her off which is really reassuring for me as a mum to know I'm leaving her somewhere she's happy and safe while I'm at work! I love the fact it's like a home from home and they really take the time to help with the babies' development, she's come on leaps and bounds since starting at little toes :)
Little Toes uses great care, enthusiasm, and effort to introduce 'Spring' - interacting with plants, soil and insects. The whole team are marvellous at engaging and entertaining my daughter, whilst simultaneously encouraging and building confidence.
Our daughter has attended Little Toes Day Nursery for over three years and has truly thrived in its nurturing, stimulating environment. She especially loves the Forest School sessions, which have boosted her confidence, curiosity, and love of nature. She's formed strong, caring relationships, and we've always found the team approachable and genuinely invested in her development. We feel welcomed and involved in her learning journey. The variety of activities-from creative arts and sensory play to storytelling and physical fun-has enriched her experience. We're so grateful to the entire team for providing such a happy, inspiring place for her to grow. It's been a wonderful foundation and a hugely positive part of our family's life.
We've been so pleased with the nursery, it's perfect for us and couldn't ask for more. Our child has been attending since 7 months old and we love that the size is small enough there's tailored personal care and everyone knows every child but it's big enough the children get exposure of different ages and diversity. Their focus on nature and relaxed learning really suits us. Our child gets exposure to so many real work experiences and safety and risk is appropriately managed to allow children to understand danger and not be scared. They have been really accommodating with different schedules and requirements at different ages/stages. But most of all our child absolutely loves going and the staff are incredible, experts in child development, exceptionally hard working and always have a smile on their face!
With every day that my son spends at this nursery, my love for the culture, staff and overall experience grows and grows. I think it's a magical place where the staff make such an effort to do not only what's best for the children, but also their families. I feel like they really have made an effort to get to know my son which makes me so confident when I drop him off in the morning that they will always do what's right by him. I could not ask for better caregivers.
I've been a parent at the nursery for 3 years now, with both my children attending, and have been happy throughout that time with the experience we've had - the staff are all brilliant and really care for the children. I get daily updates and weekly photo roundups via the app, plus regular parents evenings, so I always feel in the loop of what's going on. My children have been encouraged to explore and develop through lots of fun activities throughout the different age stages, including forest school sessions which are my son's favourite - the focus on nature/the outdoors is a big plus for our family. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending.
Little Toes is such a friendly and caring nursery! All the staff are approachable and lovely, nothing is ever too much. They look after my daughter as if she was their own child. I would recommend this nursery to everyone
