My little boy has been attending the nursery since September 2025. From the very beginning, we have been so impressed with the overall standard of care and support provided. It has made returning to work much easier knowing he is in such a safe, nurturing and positive environment.
The staff are
absolutely amazing and truly deserve the excellent rating. My son clearly adores them - he smiles when he sees them and is usually happy when I drop him off. They are kind, patient and genuinely invested in his development and wellbeing. The learning and activities provided are fantastic and age-appropriate, helping him grow in confidence and develop new skills every week.
The food and nutrition are also excellent. He absolutely loves the meals and eats really well at nursery. It's reassuring to know he is being given healthy, balanced meals and snacks each day.
Overall, we are extremely happy with every aspect of the nursery and would highly recommend it to other parents.

My boy has been at Kids Planet a little over a year and a half now and the progress he has made and the connections he has made with the staff is incredible! The staff are all so patient and attentive (even when my boy is difficult, which is a lot) and they are always coming up with new ways to
support his development. He transitioned from babies to toddlers barely walking, not really saying much and a shy boy to now an outgoing little social butterfly who is running about and trying to chat away! His confidence has come on leaps and bounds, barely even looking at people before now to asking for certain members of staff our entire journey to nursery!
I can't recommend the nursery enough, the setting is lovely, the staff are very attentive and always have your childs best interests at heart, the food has turned him in to such a good eater, I don't think I have a negative thing to say!

Our son loves kids planet! We always get great picture updates of the activities they do each day from water play, outdoor adventures and messy play. He's developed so much even since Christmas with his language and independence. Recently they had grandparents story time which he and the
grandparents loved.

Our 14 month old child has been going to Kids Planet since September 2025. He has settled in well and is very fond of the staff in the baby room. Our child enjoys a range of activities at Kids Planet and particularly likes the outdoor space and cooking activities. The food provided is exceptional
and varied. The nursery were particularly supportive in relation to his lactose allergy. We would recommend the nursery to any parent looking for childcare options.

My little boy started nursery in June, he has settled in amazingly well. It's heartwarming to see how comfortable he feels, he lifts his arm to everyone in his room, which shows how happy and secure he is in their care.
Receiving photo updates and comments throughout the day is such a lovely touch
and really helps me feel connected to his experience.
The staff do a fantastic job keeping my fully updated on how he's doing, I feel reassured knowing he's being so well looked after. I'd especially like to thank one staff member, she's always approachable, quick to respond to any queries, and her passion for her role truly shines through.

The nursery has improved so much in the last few months. The staff are friendly and are very easy to talk to. If you have any concerns or issues they are happy to help and always smiling
Always updating as much as they can on the family app I love seeing what they have been up to. The little
touches around nursery is nice like the lending library we are always having a look for a new book to read.

The most friendliest staff ever, they helped so much with getting my son settled. I feel reassured that my son is in good hands and safe. The lunch my son eat at nursery is outstanding and healthy. My son went from not wanting to leave my side to loving being at nursery to the point he doesn't
even wave goodbye anymore, he just walks in like he owns the place. And I genuinely believe that is down to how lovely the staff and environment is.

As a family we have been utterly impressed with the improvements within the nursery setting, with the obvious staff development and the time that's been given to us at parents. The communication has really improved also and I appreciate that our views and worries have been listened too. My son now
thrives and begs to go to nursery again and its been wonderful to hear him singing and happy and sharing his learning at home.

In the last few months there have been significant improvement in toddler room, I feel like my child's speech has improved significantly, we still struggle with drop offs but they are definitely having more good drop offs then ever before.
My child always talks about the activities and has a
strong relationship with my child asking if he will see her in nursery days. Since she has been room lead I feel like handovers are more thorough and don't feel rushed and I feel comfortable raising any concerns or questions around my child's care and learning
Also another staff member has always demonstrated integrity and care towards my child's and even more so knowing my anxiety around changing nursery providers, from showing us round, to my child's first day and any interactions this staff member remains approachable and kind to me and my child and appears to be a positive leader and role model

My little one has been with the nursery for nearly a year now and has thrived there. The staff have always been welcoming and supportive. They did have a difficult period with low staff levels which they have been working hard to move past. They are making great changes and developments to improve
what has always been a warm and friendly setting. I'm sure they will continue to grow and I hope the staff they have will get the support to be at their best. I think if they can get even more staff it might allow them more flexibility for bigger and better activities but my little one seems to really engage with the activities they do currently. The food they serve the children always seems healthy and varied and my little one always comes home with a full belly.

The baby room is wonderful! The staff are so kind and caring, and my granddaughter absolutely loves it there. It's warm, welcoming, and full of fun - she's always smiling in her daily photos.

We couldn't be happier with the care our granddaughter receives in the baby room. The staff are so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring - it's clear they truly love what they do. The environment is calm, clean, and stimulating. We love how they take the time to get to know her individual needs
and routines, and the regular updates (with photos!) give us such peace of mind. It's reassuring to see how much she is thriving and developing in such a safe, nurturing space. We feel very lucky to have found this wonderful nursery.

The last 6 months for this Nursery has been a roller coaster to say the least. One staff member leaving and another stepping up to the challenge of duty manager and bringing the nursery standards above and beyond has been an amazing thing for any parent to watch. The standards that have been set are
high and the whole team are going above and beyond for every child and parent. The learning measures put in place for the children are incredible. Updates daily. Photos daily. Leaning schedules weekly. Monthly meetings if wanted for parents. Walking into the premises now feels like a home and safe learning environment for the children. My little boy runs into there, so happy and runs into the arms to all the staff and not just his room staff. The staff are much happier which clearly the children pick up on. The food has been a game changer and can only say chefs kiss for the food the children get to eat. I cannot recommend the whole team enough and this is a brilliant nursery to send your child to!

My child came to the nursery with a limited vocabulary after spending an extended time at another who had tried to convince us that our child was no progressing at the expected milestones. Kids Planet Thrapston have been nothing but amazing with care, encouraging speech and looking after their
welbeing. I have nothing but good things to say about staff and management and will be sad that he is leaving such a nice, friendly team.

My twin boys have been attending the nursery since February, and we couldn't be happier. Since the change in management, there's been such a positive difference - all the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and approachable. It's lovely that every member of the team seems to know the boys by
name, even those who aren't based in their room - it really gives a sense of care and community.
There are always lots of engaging activities for the children to enjoy, and I love receiving regular updates on the app. It's so reassuring to see what they've been up to throughout the day, and the app is kept updated consistently.
The whole environment is clean, organised, and welcoming, and you can tell the staff genuinely enjoy what they do. It's a lovely place, and I feel confident my boys are happy and well looked after every day.

I couldn't be happier with the baby room at Kids Planet Thrapston. The staff are warm, nurturing, and incredibly attentive to every child's individual needs. From the moment we walked in, I felt confident that my baby was in safe, loving hands.
The environment is calm, clean, and thoughtfully
designed with age-appropriate toys and sensory activities that truly support early development. The team keeps a great routine while still being flexible to accommodate naps and feeds. I also appreciate the daily updates and photos-they offer real peace of mind for a working parent.
Most importantly, my baby lights up every morning when we arrive, she adores all the staff and they adore her. It's clear the staff have created a space where the children feel happy, secure, and cared for. I highly recommend the baby room at Kids Planet Thrapston to any parent looking for a supportive and engaging start for their little one.

The improvement we've seen in the last few months at Kids Planet Thrapston has been tremendous, the communication is fantastic. We get good detailed handovers, feel as though our child is so well loved and cared for and she just has the best time. Cannot praise the manager and the team, shoutout to
two staff members in particular they all seem passionate about making a fun and safe learning environment.

I have nothing but good things to say about this nursery, all the staff are amazing and my daughter has never had any issues, she loves going to nursery and is always so happy at the end of the day. The staff have not only been supportive towards her but have also been supportive towards me when
I've been stressed or had a lot going on, they're always there for a chat and have helped me more times that I can count. They're an amazing team and I'm thankful I chose to take my daughter here.
I know that the last 6 months haven't been the greatest in terms of changing of management and ofstead etc but I think these issues have been dealt with incredibly well and the staff have been so open and honest about everything which fills me with hope, I have definitely noticed positive improvements in the nursery and I can confidently say that my daughter wouldn't be happier anywhere else.

Both of my grandchildren attend Kids Planet nursery, and it has been a wonderful experience for our family. They love going each day and have thrived in every aspect of their development. They have built strong friendships and formed lovely bonds with the caring staff.
I want to acknowledge that
the nursery experienced some challenges a few months ago, which Ofsted identified as stemming from local leadership issues. However, I was impressed by Kids Planet's swift response - they immediately implemented changes with new management, and standards were restored quickly.
While you may encounter some old negative reviews online, I'd encourage you to visit and see for yourself. In my experience, this nursery provides excellent care and education. The staff are dedicated, and the positive impact on my grandchildren's development speaks for itself.
I would confidently recommend Kids Planet to other families. The proof is in how happy and well-developed the children are.
