Outdoor Owls has been a brilliant experience for our now 3.5-year-old son, who has been going there since he was 2. He absolutely loves it, and it's wonderful that he gets to grow up immersed in the outdoors every single day, something that feels increasingly rare in today's world. The social development we've seen has been incredible - together with his friends he's constantly dreaming up imaginative adventures and creative ways to incorporate play, without the need for actual toys. The teachers are all genuinely lovely, caring, and attentive. You can feel how much they value each child. The activities they organise are both entertaining and refreshingly down-to-earth, teaching real-life skills in a natural, hands-on way that you just don't find anywhere else. A huge bonus is that he hasn't been ill once since he started! We couldn't be happier with Outdoor Owls and wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a nursery. I wish they had an adult version!

We couldn't be happier with the nursery, such a lovely experience for our little one, both in terms of activities in the forest and educational approach! Our little one is thriving and becomes more strong and confident every day, both physically and mentally!

We have been with Outdoor Owls for several years now and cannot imagine a better place for our children. The concept, the facilities, but especially the staff are unique. It is simply wonderful to see how passionately the individual educators spend their everyday lives with the children and how happy and content the children are when they return from their day at Outdoor Owls. A big thank you to the entire team for their dedication which makes this possible!

This place is truly a dream come true for children. We are incredibly happy that our daughter has the opportunity to grow and develop in such an inspiring and creative environment. The dedication and passion of all the educators are truly remarkable, and it's evident that they genuinely care about each child's growth. Our daughter is thriving and learning so much every day, and we couldn't be more grateful. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a wonderful space for our children to explore, imagine, and learn. Your hard work and commitment make a world of difference!

Real forest school was a new concept to us when we heard about it. Of course we had heard about the idea, but assumed that it would mean access to a back garden or a wooded area for X hours a day for the children, but then they would come in out of the rain.. however, when we visited the site in Cobham, we were blown away by what we witnessed and could not wait to send our youngest child of four there. Now two months in, it has certainly met and surpassed our expectations. The staff are so motivated to do the job, they care so much about the children and the standards they set for independence and growth are so positive and rewarding for the little man. He is absolutely loving it. We really wanted him to get more active, more independent and understand the role of nature in learning and development and this could not be a better fit for him. We are telling everybody about it.

I would recommend outdoor owls to anybody. To know that my little one is enjoying the magic of the outdoors in a supportive environment, is a wonderful feeling. We just used to play outside in the 80s, something we don't really let our kids do anymore. So schools like outdoor owls are extra important for that camaraderie, rough'n'tumble and unity that we used to have as kids. I always feel she's very well looked after, the staff are always open to feedback, and they hold space for any concerns I have. By that I mean any phases that Willow is going through that I may find challenging. I find them very supportive and above and beyond. Don't hesitate!

Our daughter has been at Outdoor Owls for close to 2 years now and we couldn't be happier with her experience there. From the moment we first viewed the grounds in Cobham, we knew we wouldn't find a better nursery than that. She looks forward to going to OO so much that if we're driving through Richmond on a non-nursery day, she asks if she's going to OO and gets very upset when we say "Not today". She rarely gets ill as the children are mostly outside, she talks fondly of all the teachers, eats well, looks very happy at the end of the day, and shows so much confidence. She comes back filthy, covered in dirt, twigs in her hair, and a big smile. Her dertailed nursery reports show how incredibly well they know. A favourite detail of ours - how we know we chose the right place - is that when walking around, she is constantly searching for sticks and rocks and climbing everything she can and using her imagination. Outdoor Owls gives children back the childhood that we got to have.

Our son has attended Outdoor Owls for two years and we couldn't be happier with our choice to send him there. He's adventurous, loves the outdoors and is very engaged with the natural environment whenever we go out to play. I am sure that his outdoor play and discovery at the nursery has lead to this interest as our eldest, who didn't attend OO, is quite different. Not only do the kids become resilient, fit and healthy from their outdoor adventures, but the incredible, well-trained staff ensure that their emotional and social skills are being developed simultaneously. They learn all of the life skills that children their age should be learning to find their way in the world, just in context of mucky outdoor play. Perfect! Our son is ready and excited for school in September as a result of the nurturing care and professional attention he has received at the Outdoor Owls nursery and we're beyond grateful.

We have two children at Outdoor Owls and couldn't think of a better nursery setting. The Educators are all absolutely outstanding, they know the children so well and always ensure that the children are having fun, learning lots and safe. Both our children are extremely happy at Outdoor Owls and look forward to going in the mornings and are buzzing when we collect them in the afternoon. For children, especially urban children, to have the opportunity to spend so much time outside during these formative years is fantastic.

My daughter started at Outdoor Owls, and she had a very smooth settling in. The staff were so kind and professional, and we are really happy to send her there. The days are filled with joy, exploration and curiosity. My daughter is looking forward to go there and has so much to tell when she comes back home. Their enabling and natural environment has helped my daughter to develop physically and emotionally. I feel that she is more resilient now and more curious about her surroundings. The staff are the winner in Outdoor Owls.

Every day is an adventure-whether it's exploring the trails, discovering bugs under logs, or learning through imaginative outdoor play. It's a setting that fosters not just learning, but a deep love and respect for nature. We've seen firsthand how this immersive environment has sparked his creativity and independence. One of the most unexpected and welcome surprises has been the impact on his health. Since joining the nursery, he hasn't been sick once. Outdoor Owls has been the best choice we could've made!

Outdoor Owls has been the best choice for our daughter. Since joining, with nearly no English language skills, in a short 4 months she has picked up the language, and a huge confidence when using it to communicate. The school and the teachers make sure the children develop physical skills, a ton of confidence and get stronger both in their body and minds. We could not be happier with our choice and have already confirmed the school for another year. Seeing how happy our daughter is and how amazing care she has makes us full of joy as parents.

6 out of 5 stars for everything! The teachers are out of this world with their understanding of childhood development, their extreme patients with both us parents and children and their enthusiasm with everything they do. The food is gorgeous and comes from a family catering business, making fresh food with many vegetables and fruits available. Our son has been going to Outdoor Owls for 2.5 years and his sister will be joining soon as their youngest member. Their campus is Neverland and fuels their independence, creativity and imagination. There are not enough words to express our gratitude to the lovely staff. They are shaping children's lives and the little owls are the most well balance children I meet around town. The care they get here is priceless and the best money we have ever spent. Thank you, thank you, thank you Outdoor Owls. We love you!

I cannot recommend Outdoor Owls in Richmond highly enough. Our little boy thrives there and is encouraged to be himself whilst learning important lessons. They are fun and creative, incredibly caring and take an active interest in all aspects of his life. I've recommended them to everyone I know. We love it so much that when we move soon we are moving to the other Outdoor Owls location as I cannot bear the idea of him not attending. It is the best thing you can do for you child.

I am so grateful to be able to send my son to Outdoor Owls. The staff are so caring and kind. It is such a unique setting for a nursery allowing children to have adventures and learn about nature in a way that isn't possible elsewhere. I have nothing but positive words for this brilliant nursery!

With both our girls attending the maximum time from minimum age we wouldn't have it any other way and if we had a 3rd child it's Outdoor Owls all the way. The environment in the forest is second to none. Our child loves every day at the nursery and the preschool tuition is brilliant with proof of our eldest succeeding at Big School because of this. Our current Owl was ill each month during a short term at indoor nursery before joining but has been a bundle of health since joining the outdoor environment 2 years ago. Fresh air is best. What makes this so successful is the incredible teachers. Every day is big but the enthusiasm and feedback they provide at the end of a tiring day shows they love what they do. We will miss all the crew and family feel but thrilled we made the decision to go with Outdoor Owls those years ago. TWOOOO

Outdoor Owls has been a fantastic experience for my little one. I've seen his confidence grow exponentially since joining the nursery. Family friends have also remarked on how confident he appears in moving his body (climbing, jumping, running, etc), being a good steward of the natural world, and playing with other children. The staff at OO are friendly, diverse, engaging and really believe in the mission of Outdoor Owls. They happily celebrate little wins and milestones in development with us. I'm always amazed by how smoothly they manage to make a day outdoors with young children run. I highly recommend Outdoor Owls!

Our daughter has been attending Outdoor Owls for a few months now. She thoroughly enjoys her days and has made fantastic progress in all areas of her development. The staff at Outdoor Owls are simply fantastic. They not only ensure our daughter is cared for and supported in her education journey but they ensure parents are fully aware of all areas of nursery life to help promote the best environment for all children attending. The start of an outdoor nursery did seem daunting after a big move, with the introduction of a minibus journey and all the outdoor kit in the height of winter, but the staff are perfectly trained in handling parent and toddler worries and made the transition so easy. We are thrilled with the nursery and the care they show our daughter. We highly recommend Outdoor Owls to anyone we can. The staff go above and beyond to provide a stimulating, caring and creative learning environment. You will get to watch your child flourish in their care.

Outdoor Owls is a truly exceptional nursery, unlike any other we have experienced. The concept is incredible and we feel so privileged to be living in London and for our children to still be able to experience the great outdoors and nature every single day, all day. The learning that takes place in the forest is second to none, our children have learnt amazing skills for life that have helped them to develop socially, and physically and be more than ready when it comes to starting school. Beyond all of this, and most importantly, the whole staff team are brilliant and so caring towards the children. They have made us feel so welcome as a family and the family events throughout the year really build the whole community. The handover at the end of every day shows how well they know our children and how much they care about them. As many Outdoor Owl parents say, our only wish is that our children can keep on attending until they are much older! Thank goodness for the holiday camps!
