Shadwell Nursery Manager lands top prize at national awards
Green Gables Montessori in London is celebrating after one of its team members was recognised at a national awards ceremony.

Green Gables Montessori’s Kelly Burrows was the recipient of one of the 12 awards handed out during Busy Bees annual Nursery Manager Celebration Awards, beating stiff competition to be named Nursery Manager Newcomer of the Year.

The panel of judges praised Kelly’s commitment and dedication, and her sheer determination to strive for excellence. Since joining the team 10 months ago following the acquisition of Mace, Kelly has fully embraced the transition into Busy Bees and everything the company stands for.
Vikki Skinner, Divisional Director at Busy Bees, said: “The Nursery Managers Awards was a truly inspirational evening. It was brilliant to hear about the hard work of staff members across the breadth and depth of the country.
“I am thrilled for Kelly and can honestly say it is so well deserved. Kelly is a positive and hard-working individual and we are so lucky to have her. No challenge is too difficult to overcome, and she goes the extra mile to help and support other teams. I am extremely proud of Kelly and everything she has achieved with Busy Bees so far. She truly deserves this award – well done Kelly!”

Speaking about her award win, Kelly added: “I was over the moon when I heard my name called out at the awards ceremony. It has certainly been an exciting year since joining Busy Bees and it’s wonderful to receive this kind of recognition for a job that I am truly passionate about and it really means the world. I can’t wait to see what the next year brings.”
The Busy Bees annual Nursery Manager Celebration Awards ceremony took place on 29th March 2019.
The awards recognise and reward individuals and team excellence across 374 Busy Bees nurseries nationwide.
