A leading early years nursery group in South East London is seeking an experienced, motivated and child-centred Room Leader to join one of their high-quality settings in Peckham Rye or East Dulwich.

About the Role

As Room Leader, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional early years practice, ensuring a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5. You will oversee planning, key-person responsibilities, room organisation, and contribute to the continuous improvement of care and education.

Role Details

  • Salary: £30,000–£32,000
  • Hours: 38–40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days
  • Annual Leave: 22 days plus bank holidays
  • Locations: Peckham Rye or East Dulwich
  • Interview Process: 1–2 stage format plus time spent in the room

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 or above in Early Years
  • Experience leading a room or supervising staff
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS
  • Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • Passion for child-centred, nature-inspired practice
  • Ability to guide, mentor and inspire others
