Sunnyhill has built a reputation in the local community for excellence in early years provision, and we’re now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to lead our outstanding team.
The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the nursery. You will inspire and support your team to deliver outstanding care and early learning experiences, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.

Manage and support a team of early years practitioners, promoting professional development.

Ensure full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted standards.

Maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community.

Oversee staffing, budgets, occupancy, and administrative tasks.

Promote a positive, inclusive culture for children, staff, and families.

Ensure the nursery is inspection-ready and continuously improving in all areas.

Skills / Qualifications:
- Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Childcare (e.g.
- NVQ
- CACHE).
- At least 2 years’ experience in a senior or managerial role within an early years setting.
- Sound understanding of the EYFS and current early years legislation.
- Strong leadership
