Early Years Practitioner

Job summary

Woodhouse Nursery are looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our amazing nursery.

Applicants must have a level 3 qualification in early years plus experience working in a busy early years environment.

 You must have sound knowledge of the EYFS and be an organized individual with the enthusiasm and passion needed to work with young children and their families.

The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and the successful individual will need to have a flexible working attitude to meet the needs and demands of the nursery.

The preferred qualities needed are:

• Good team player
• Can use own initiative
• Self motivated
• Have sound knowledge of the EYFS and Development Matters.
• Have a good understanding of child development and how to support children with differing needs
• Have a friendly, loving and warm manner.
• Are able to use a child centre teaching/learning approach.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required

You will be offered a weekly contract of 25 hours plus.  

Term time or all year round hours negotiable.

Hourly rate of pay to be discussed at interview stage.
