Up to £31,185 per year  (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Full-Time | 40 hours/week | Monday to Friday
Minimum Level 3 DfE-Approved Early Years Qualification Required

We’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Baby Room Practitioner to join our growing team at Wood Wharf Kindergarten. This role is perfect for someone with a nurturing nature and a passion for supporting the development of babies from 3 months to 2 years.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Baby Room Practitioner, you will be instrumental in nurturing our youngest children and supporting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering stimulating, age-appropriate activities
• Supporting routines including feeding, napping, and hygiene care
• Observing and tracking developmental milestones in line with the EYFS
• Building strong relationships with babies and their families
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and emotionally secure environment
• Working collaboratively with your room team to ensure consistency and high standards of care

You’ll Need:

• A full and relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification (DfE-approved)
• Experience working with children under 2 in a nursery or early years setting
• A sound understanding of the EYFS, particularly for babies and toddlers
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
