Myton Green Children's Nursery and Pre-School are a BRAND NEW nursery set to be opening in September 2025. Our family owned nursery group have been successfully operating for over 26 years.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the setting up of a brand new nursery, nurturing and developing the potential of young children in a stimulating and safe environment. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education, along with the ability to effectively communicate and manage classroom dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among children.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery space that adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and families to support their educational journey.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour positively while promoting an inclusive environment for all children.
• Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivate young learners.
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or excursions.
