With casual, zero-hour contracts, this role offers the flexibility allowing you to immerse yourself in the nurturing environment of a nursery without the constraints of a full-time commitment.

The main duties of the role include:

·  Ensuring the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating  environment.

·  Working in partnership with parents and also fellow colleagues.

·  Maintaining child development and observation records.

·  Following and implementing all policies and procedures set out by the nursery.

·  Ensuring the key person approach is fully instilled in every day practice.

The successful candidates must hold a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification.

Applicants will need to demonstrate some recent experience in a child care setting which can be referenced and able to demonstrate their knowledge of the developmental and learning needs of young children.  You will also need to be a positive role-model to colleagues, students and visitors to the nursery.
