Our nursery day care and pre-school are situated in the original Simpson farmhouse that has been perfectly adapted to create an environment that offers children and staff a homely and engaging space to enjoy, play, learn and develop, both within our inside and outside environments.

We are looking for a Level 2 wishing to complete a Level 3 (or equivalent) Apprentice Child Practitioner to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will be working effectively as part of our established team to deliver and provide outstanding care; child safety and security; fun and progressive learning and development at our attractive setting. You will be an enthusiastic and pro-active team player, who possess’ drive and the fun factor in order to ignite children’s passion for learning through play and to achieve outstanding practice. 

At Little Bears Day Nursery, we are vigilant in our robust recruitment procedures aiming to ensure all people working with children are qualified and suitable to do so.

Employment is dependent upon the provision of a Disclosure and Barring certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service together with Update Service registration.  However,  if we have not yet received your DBS check we may still make the decision to employ you, under close supervision in line with Ofsted guidance.

Skills / Qualifications:

• EYE Level 2 or equivalent
• CYPW Level 2 or equivalent
