Job summary
Treehoppers Forest Kindergarten is looking for an Early Years Practitioner with a Level 2/3 in Early Years (or an equivalent qualification) to work at our East Grinstead setting in West Sussex. We are ideally looking for a qualified, experienced practitioner for this position but will also consider applicants who are looking to pursue an early years/forest school career and earn while they learn. The hours are 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday, with the option of additional hours on a more flexible basis to make this a full time position.
You need to love working working with young children, love being outdoors (rain or shine) and don't mind getting muddy! You will work as a key person to a number of children and help to create a fun, magical & high quality education for all children attending. At Treehoppers we think that the outdoor classroom is the very best type of classroom and we offer a unique and very different type of childcare. We are committed to training & developing our staff and so you will have the opportunity to take part in Forest School training and/or higher level early years training.
Our Kindergarten is open Monday - Thursday 8-4 and we also run monthly 'stay & plays' on a Friday and holiday clubs for primary aged children.
