Hours: Part-time – Term Time

At Brighter Beginnings, we are looking for a dedicated Nursery Cook to join our team. You’ll be responsible for preparing freshly cooked, balanced meals and snacks for our children, making sure every child’s dietary needs are catered for – including allergies, intolerances, and cultural requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Preparing delicious, healthy meals and snacks for children aged 0–5.
Following the latest EYFS nutrition guidance to support children’s growth and development.
Creating varied menus that children love while meeting dietary requirements.
Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
Working closely with the nursery team to support positive mealtime experiences.

What We’re Looking For:
A love of cooking and passion for children’s health and wellbeing.
Experience in a cook/chef role (nursery, school, or care setting desirable).
Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to complete).
Knowledge of allergies and special diets.
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
