Job summary

QUALIFIED NURSERY PRACTITIONER – LEVEL 2/3

 We are looking to expand our friendly team in Reading.  We are committed and motivated in our Montessori & Forest School teaching approach which works alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage, offering a high level of education for every child.  The successful applicant must be able to work as part of a strong staff team and have a love for children.

Daily responsibilities:

·  To ensure the wellbeing, health, and education of our children, through Montessori practice.

·  To work as a key person to a group of children, supporting their needs and working closely with their families to support their development.

·  To work as part of the team within the daily rota of allocated positions/job tasks.

·  Ensure the nursery’s safe practices/policies and procedures are always adhered to.

·  Take an interest in CPD – continuing to further their knowledge within childcare practices.

Qualifications/experience required:

·  Full and recognised Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification

·  Experience of working with children aged between 9 months  – 5 years old.

The Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm, 51 weeks of the year, only closing for Bank holidays, inset days and a week at Christmas.
