Deputy Manager

Job summary

We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and hardworking deputy manager to join our team here at Little Angels. The right candidate will also be the room leader of a nursery room ( the room will be discussed at interview and will depend on your experience)

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the Nursery Manager and deputising in their absence.
• Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating learning experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Assist the manager in ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with, and that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
•  Work closely with the Nursery Manager to manage and organise the Nursery.
• Co-ordination of roles and responsibilities and the ability to delegate where necessary.

The applicant must have:

• Must have experience of leading a team.
• Ideally have 5 years early years’ experience.
• Excellent knowledge of SEND.
•  Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding.
• Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.
• Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.

A full, enhanced DBS check is required (and clear) and two viable references before offer of employment given.

All successful applicants will be interviewed (either virtually or face-to-face), and will undergo a trial at the setting, to showcase their skills and abilities to work with children.
